Happened to me with PTHL my heart nearly stopped pumping
omg dude that actually pisses me off and I'm saying this because I want to help you and hate losing money. It is so evident you cant short these stocks. These china stocks are probably kept up by the most sophisticated pump and dump group there is (CIGL, PTNM, PTHL, MB, SDM, PHOE and numerous others) who has a tremendous amount of liquidity, and is probably the underwritter for some of these companies. They have learned exactly how to fuck shorts (look at what happened to CUPR, FLYE, and UFG or was it UPG). You can make money on the way up but shorting this is the stupidest idea possible. There are a lot of stupid ways to lose money but for the love of fucking god please dont do this shit.

A false article was released by The Bear Cave, causing PTHL to drop from $30 to < $1.00. PTHL said no acquisition is happening, so the market reacted to nothing. PTHL was also rank #1 on Squeeze Finder with a squeeze score of 99.66 on Friday (I haven't checked the updated number today).

I don't really have any unique insights about any of that stuff. I'm not really a big picture guy. That's never been part of our trading strategy really outside of 2000 and 2008 I suppose. I focus mostly on crap companies that are unaffected by macro stuff because they're just pigs that are being pumped. The stocks I deal with all have an agenda and that agenda typically results in buyers getting destroyed. Take a look at charts for PTHL, CIGL,QST, PHH and you'll see where my focus is at.

Do you have any more information on the group that runs these? I clicked on an ad out of curiosity and PTHL was the stock. Was expecting them to ask me to sign up with their broker to buy Crypto but they never did
