RLMD has many established approved and pipeline competitors and offers very little differentiation. In any case their claims supporting REL-1017 are not yet fully validated. REL-1017 failed its phase 3 and tanked the stock by over 80%. Regulatory, commercial and executions risks abound. RLMD showing a surprising amount of volatility considering the float. It had a big rise at EOD and AH. Now it’s simmered down, but the fact it did that much without any news is impressive. Can’t wait for Phase 2 read out next week.

What's the general consensus on RLMD? They had a 75% price drop today down to $0.68 after announcing they weren't satisfied with their clinical trials. Seems like going up another 30% before their next trial isn't unrealistic, I've never had luck in bio though.

Last words on RLMD: I think the market makers and hedge funds are going to try to drive it down to 30 where most of the short options exist, the October 30s particularly. MACD has been very accurate for 3 years and just turned negative nothwithdtanding the new bear market A perfect storm would be the phase 3 data being released just before October 21st expiration. If data comes after expiration it will be a run of the mill short squeeze to 75-81 ( Goldman’s 1 year target) I think there’s going to be a huge short squeeze on RLMD which could drive it up to 100 200 even 300 like GameStop. The short squeeze at GameStop was driven by Blackrock, they made $1.2 billion on it. Blackrock owns 9% of RLMD. 6 million shares and calls sold short and there’s only 3 million shares in the public’s hands, 90% of the stock is in the hands of institutions like the Rockefellers VenRock, (7% ),and others, a new one ‘Perseptive’ (?) just bought 2mm shares. ( 7%) Venrock just converted 1mm shares to warrants which means they could buy more without affecting control %s Phase 3 data is due anytime. The FDA looks for a 2 point ‘separation from placebo’ to take any new drug seriously. RLMD, fast tracked since 2017, had 9.4 points of separation in their phase 2 study in 2019. The stock quadrupled overnight. Conclusion: buy some now but if it gets to $30 or lower buy the heck out of it

Disclosure: I own about 50 shares of $RLMD at about $20 RSI(20) on the daily (Hoping I'm using the right terminology) is over 70, and the stock is up almost 10% this week, but this is on no news. $RLMD hit a 52 week low of $16.23 on February 4th, but it's been on an uptrend since. What confuses me is that this is all happening without any news. Sure earnings were good (I believe) a few weeks ago, but I don't understand why the sentiment is so seemingly bullish. As an investor up almost 50% I'm happy, but is this a bubble waiting to burst?
