You think because he bought a name he wanted from a failed company, it makes him not a founder? Do you think working 15+-hour days and sleeping at your company just makes you an investor? What about SpaceX? What do you think it was like for him to build such a company when everyone in the industry said it was impossible including many people he very much admired like Buzz Aldrean who was one of many of Boeings / SLS's champion to get billions more for the same project those companies have still failed to deliver on. What do you think June 4, 2010, was like when he had to give a speech before the launch that this was their last hope? I know personally people who sold their private stock betting on a failure and cried, knowing it was like selling Bitcoin at $2. SpaceX alone saves my country and taxpayers billions on launches because of the monopoly those companies had. You're a hater because you're so wrapped up in the culture of Reddit cultivated by censorship and socialists that think risk, merit, and hard work doesn't matter. It does. I know it does because I have worked in service at many companies in manufacturing, calibrating CNC machines for the last 17 years, and there's a massive difference in how these companies are ran. Many of these big companies inherited the successes of giants and are falling asleep at the wheel, and as a result, our country is falling behind and taxpayers being robbed.

You people have no idea what a leader is. People are not equal in this world. Being able to put the right people together, make the hard choices no one else will, put everything on the line, and risk it all is something most people won't do. Many people who were key to his companies success also sold their stock early because they didn't believe in the companies he built. Many much larger companies given much larger amounts of money to achieve the same thing never have. Where's Boeings version of the Dragon Capsule? They got billions more and haven't came close. Where's SLS's landing rocket? Where's Google's starlink? Where's GM's Tesla? Money was never the issue. It's leadership.

It’s wrong. I became „Rich“ more than 2 years ago. Before that I already stopped being in contact with 99% of people, many years before that. And the people I am still in contact with are still the same people as before lol. No one ever asked for anything, however I bought one person something as it was a thing of heart ( it was an SLS AMG black series ) which cost me close to half a million, that was the only present I ever made 😄

They may be under no obligation, but this letter is a perfect example of coercive power. What fidelity is doing is perfect legal, but the point of this letter is that the CEO of fidelity now gets to sit in her office imagining answering these very questions being asked to her during a senate hearing, aired national television, if BTC has a plunge. I'm glad someone leaked this piece of poison, because it illuminates what is happening. Lately -- with the SLS and other fiscal disasters, the endless SpaceX environmental review delays, with the turbotax scam that makes taxes incrediably painful -- I wonder how any progress happens at all in the USA.

Congrats. There are other things that you can do with a medical degree that don't involve being on call 24x7 and dealing with drug addicts at the ER. Radiology and cardiology can mostly involve interpreting images, with all of the patient-wrangling being done by minions. Research, whether at a pharma or a university, is another good use. Or, if you're more of an engineer, consider working on medical devices, either mass production or one-offs for specific patients. 3D printing is becoming huge for bone replacements, for example -- get imaging done, then make a new mandible for some poor schlub using SLS and titanium.

Shelby also is the guy who basically single handedly destroyed the US crewed spaceflight by forcing NASA to spend billions on the SLS rocket which is an outdated and obsolete design, because it’s made in Alabama. When SpaceX and Musk came up with Falcon Heavy which is reusable and much cheaper, Shelby was mad af and tried to smear and obstruct them. This man is no friend of progress.

A lamborghini is a no holds design engineered for performance/looks. They do not care about cargo space when they design it, they do not care about comfort or how hard it is to get into. The best lambo's cause a little fear just by driving them. It is basically by definition by the way it is designed a "worse" car. Getting in and driving a lambo is an event, getting in an Audi isn't. If it was why do Gallardo/Hurracan's hold their value so much better then the Audi R8. The R8 is by far a better day to day car, its more comfortable, its more practical, its cheaper, you can probably find someone willing to work on it easier when it does break. You won't ever make a 1.8t sound good, the sound of a v12 or v10 can't be beat. If your buying a lambo just to get attention/women etc... your probably wasting your money. Buy a mercedes SLS, a mclaren 12c, heck buy a c8 corvette If your buying a lambo just to go fast, your also wasting your money. buy a hellcat, corvette, gt500 mustang. Also if you think a 1.8t tuned to 600hp is going to be reliable, your not thinking straight.

Rockets are literally the most efficient engine. The exhaust of new Shepard is water. The main engine of the SLS and space shuttle spewed out water as well. Horrible

Let him lose his money. 1 all money is bullshit and fabricated, it wasn’t til I understood this that I suddenly propelled my self from poor to owning 911s and traveling and eventually holding a mil plus in real estate and living the good life. Granted my wife and I still work but we have awesome jobs. There is a certain psychological thing that happens when you watch a $1000 evaporate. For me I lost my ass in SLS or some shit penny stock in 09. But it taught me nerve and making peace with losing money. Vegas helped there too. The nerve gave me the balls to take bigger risks while trying to better calculate less stupid risk. 2. You will hate yourself if he is out a ton of money and you are wrong. That will be irreversible damage to y’all’s relationship. Lastly, if I remember correctly, he can get a coinbase account. Buy $1000 of ETH and convert to shib. I could be wrong but I think that is what I did. I got 2.5 million shib for $20 bucks. Why? No one knows what will happen. And also inflation. As USD dilutes in 20 years shib could hit a penny. This is why I hold 14k coins in doge but I have enough sense to keep 44% of my crypto portfolio in BTC. Good brother! 🙂

The Merlin 1D engine isn't even close to the most efficient engine design out there. Its also a kerosene/lox engine design, that's open cycle so the exhaust from the gas generator that spins the turbo pump is vented off in an extremely fuel rich state. Kerosene is a hydrocarbon, which isn't exactly environmentally friendly. And its specific impulse, while good for kerolox engines, isn't spectacular compared to other fuel/oxidizer combos out there. The Raptor engine is much better, being a staged or closed cycle design, so the gas generator exhaust flows into the main combustion generator and is fully combusted. Much like the RS-25 that the Space Shuttle used. However, the Raptor uses methane as its fuel, which is still a hydrocarbon, and still pollutes. Now, the reason I bring this all up is that you're talking about rocket efficiency. There are much more efficient engines out there, specifically the aforementioned RS-25 that the Space Shuttle used and the SLS (if it ever comes to fruition) will use. The RS-25 is a staged combustion LH2/LOX engine, who's only exhaust byproduct is water. And in terms of specific impulse, there's few combos higher than a LH2/LOX engine. Now, if you took that fuel/oxidizer combo, engine design, and made it something you could land, bam, there's your more efficient design. The upfront cost would be tremendous, but in terms of environmental impact and efficiency, there's your answer.
