Yeah, so you haven't asked why I think decoupling is the goal. Here's an article from August 2024, when American liberals thought Trump couldn't win: https://www.piie.com/blogs/realtime-economics/2024/while-us-and-china-decouple-eu-and-china-deepen-trade-dependencies I don't think the US cares about Taiwan more than they care about the RSF doing genocide in Sudan or Israel doing genocide in Gaza. What the U.S. cares about is preventing a rising China from enabling other developing countries from breaking out of the IMF debt cycle. Regarding U.S. interests in Taiwan, we've seen repeated attempts to move TSMC manufacturing to U.S. soil. Once the U.S. feels confident they can meet their own chip production needs, Taiwan will just become Ukraine (a tool for destabilizing China). I'm not being religious, I'm being realistic. The U.S. has a privileged position in the global economy and they want to maintain it. My overall point is that the trade war isn't going to end in some happy deal with peaceful coexistence with China. That could happen today if the U.S. wanted it. It could have happened 8 or 12 years ago. In relation to trading stocks, it means we're in for a lot of pain. As Trump said, "Sometimes you have to take the medicine." https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c2093qgx14po.amp
Out of curiosity I looked into this a little bit. Here is some info I was able to get in regards to the Sudanese Investment Bank. It sounds like it probably was dissolved but its best to have this certificate verified with a somebody who knows what they are talking about and not idiots like myself on reddit. The **Sudanese Investment Bank** (SIB) was one of the key financial institutions in Sudan, but it faced significant challenges over the years due to the country’s political instability, economic sanctions, and financial sector reforms. While detailed, up-to-date information might require a search of recent developments, here are some key events and contributing factors that have influenced the fate of the bank: # 1. Economic Instability in Sudan Sudan has faced ongoing economic challenges, particularly following the secession of South Sudan in 2011, which caused a loss of about 75% of its oil revenues. This significantly weakened the economy and led to inflation, currency devaluation, and debt crises, making it difficult for banks like the Sudanese Investment Bank to operate efficiently. # 2. Sanctions Sudan faced international sanctions for years, particularly from the United States, due to its involvement in supporting terrorism and conflicts in the Darfur region. These sanctions heavily affected Sudan’s banking sector, making it difficult for banks to interact with the global financial system. Although some sanctions were lifted in 2017, the effects of years of isolation were long-lasting. # 3. Reforms in the Banking Sector Sudan’s government undertook several banking reforms in recent years, particularly during the transitional government period following the ousting of President Omar al-Bashir in 2019. These reforms aimed at addressing inefficiencies in the banking sector, consolidating institutions, and encouraging foreign investment. Some banks were merged, restructured, or dissolved as part of this effort. # 4. Potential Merger or Dissolution The Sudanese Investment Bank, like several other banks in Sudan, may have been affected by these financial reforms. In cases of underperformance or instability, banks can be merged with other institutions, restructured, or liquidated, depending on their financial health and alignment with the government’s policies. # 5. Impact of the 2023 Conflict The ongoing conflict in Sudan, particularly the violence between the military and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) that escalated in April 2023, has severely impacted the country’s economy and banking sector. Many banks have halted operations due to security risks, and the economy has further deteriorated, making it challenging for financial institutions like the Sudanese Investment Bank to continue functioning. In summary, the Sudanese Investment Bank likely faced significant difficulties related to Sudan’s political and economic turmoil, sanctions, and financial reforms. These challenges could have led to its restructuring, merger, or even dissolution. The current state of the bank would depend on the latest developments in Sudan’s banking sector amidst the ongoing conflict.

I operate in this market in 30+ locations globally as a tenant with 2.5 million RSF. In some markets, we got a 20% discount to market on a 10-year renewal because we were there for 10 years previously as an anchor tenant, have great credit and pay our bills, so the landlord wants us there. We've closed a location one location last year. One of our landlords, Brookfield (publicly traded Canadian REIT), strategically defaulted on two loans in two towers in downtown Los Angeles because no one wants to be in DTLA. But then in other cities, we cannot get space. At least the space we want. These are the A+/trophy type properties... there are barely any vacancies in these assets. It's a flight to quality. We want to be in the named building that everyone knows and the amenities that go with that building. It's two different worlds in the commercial real estate space. Will be interesting to see how it all plays out.
you would think Russia woulda been smart enough to avoid giving a paramilitary group so much power. I mean just look at what happened in Sudan with the RSF lol

A lot can change in a few months in the business of early stage growth companies, STARTUPS. Rritual Superfoods is still a startup and a good one! What motivated me to buy more at Rritual Superfoods despite massive price drops or precisely because of it, is the fact that there are many parallels to Else Nutrition and the report by Clarus Inc. https://investors.rritual.com/investors/analyst-coverage/ : Similar industry, on the same continent, partnership with CROSSMARK Inc., very experienced management (100+ years experience! e.g. two former #RedBull board members) and the great team, very good #vegan products at the right time, good margins, rapid growth, highlighted by wins with CVS, RiteAid, Amazon, The Good Trends and Vitacost, companies vision, now thanks us investors good financing and a similar price trend with strong outbreaks in the initial phase of a startup. Rritual share price is now trading around a low of approximately $ 0.18 CAD and if business grows at the pace, Clarus Inc., who see the share price at $ 2 CAD, could increase tenfold. It is a potential #tendigger ! :) In addition to recent MD&A reports under https://www.sedar.com/DisplayCompanyDocuments.do?lang=EN&issuerNo=00050576 there is also something better for the eyes for all those who are tired of reading long reports on simplywall ;) https://simplywall.st/stocks/ca/household/cse-rsf/rritual-superfoods-shares e.g.: # Rritual Superfoods's financial position 6/6 # RSF is debt free. # Insider Trading: Scott Eldridge (purchase) Looking forward to the next quarterly figures at the end of November 2021 and February 2022 and news about product launches such as ready to drink beverages. Rritual Superfoods is a WINNER said Clarus Inc.! :) All statements without guarantee. I take no responsibility for the content of external links. All errors are reserved. This is my personal observation and summary and not a purchase advice. Please take your time to get an idea and decide for yourself. I look forward to your personal opinion. #lionsmane #lion #bullish #winner #vegan #rsf #else #baby #superfood
