My profile picture is Monero, its my favorite crypto currency. Though I am not a fan boy, I know Monero is the best option we currently have HOWEVER it will be replaced one day as all things are. Digital security is always evolving, Signal is great right now, but it could get compromised, they could change the encryption protocol to something weaker, get pressured by the feds, who knows. There is a reason we no longer use MD5, & one day there will be a reason we no longer use Monero. But as of now Monero is amazing, in my eyes the best crypto currency hands down.

Absolutely what the other guy said. Move your coins to a new wallet (hardware) before claiming airdrops because you will be entering your private key into a new wallet. Learn how to cryptographically verify a downloaded wallet you are using, (MD5/SHA1/PGP) to not get your airdrop stolen by a scam wallet.

Don’t give up, no matter what. Find a sarcoma specialist near you, or confer with one through your oncologist (MD Anderson, Sloan Kettering, UCLA Sarcoma Center). There are a LOT of treatments that can either kill the cancer or, at the very least, give you a lot more time. My wife has been living with Stage IV sarcoma for 4 years now and there are others who have been living with it for 10, 20 years. The science is catching up. If they biopsies your tumor, get it DNA tested (PARIS test), which can tell you which treatments your specific cancer is susceptible to. But please make sure you add a sarcoma specialist to your team. You got this warrior. Fight the good fight!

MD Anderson in Houston saved the life of one of my family members who had very aggressive cancer. They will arrange everything and even have financial support if you don’t have enough to pay for everything.

It needlessly associates multiple payments to the same recipient on the blockchain.

I was listening to the "Welcome to the Metaverse" podcast, an episode where one of the MD's from Republic Realm (digital real estate firm that bought the $4.3m property on Sandbox yesterday), she said that there's so much room for improvement on both DCL and Sandbox that there's an opportunity for improvement, creativity and new brands... she also mentioned that the UX on both platforms is rather clunky... But overall, this is not to say that they will "fail" but rather, that there is room for improvement. Whether DCL / Sandbox make those improvements or other players enter and compete, I still can't say. Cautious optimism is my approach. Right now, I can't fork out $12,000 for a piece of land on either of the platforms. Forget about success/failure of the platforms, I feel like just as in the real world, many investors like myself are already priced out of the market. So where do we go? Is there going to be a platform that allows us to pool our funds? Can we find other ways to make passive income directly from LAND on a platform? These are all questions that devs need to address in order for this all to become more community and less monopoly... Happy to hear your thoughts.
