CZ is publicly asking where the TWENTY-EIGHT THOUSAND BITCOINS went after being deposited to his exchange? If Kwon is guilty of anything, then CZ is complicit in it. If someone can explain exactly how close to a billion dollars worth of Bitcoin is deposited to Binance and CZ doesn't know where it went, that would be great. You really should take a step back before investing in altcoins. CRO is not equity in the exchange, you receive no dividends nor have any ownership of Crypto.com with the CRO token. The value of the CRO token is entirely tied to what value crypto.com will extend to it and they’ve been slashing that value aggressively non-stop. It already is extremely over-valued, you are buying airline points with an EIGHT BILLION dollar valuation, but CRO is far smaller than any airline reward program and has far less utility. This is the absolute basics of investing and if you aren’t at this point you are going to lose I guarantee it. Study on how to evaluate companies, it will translate to crypto. Make sure you know exactly where the token derives its value either now or in the future. Then you can evaluate what you’d pay for it.
The boots theory doesn't apply here. This isn't a discussion on a poor person sinking deeper into poverty because they can't afford lasting goods. This is someone blowing the standardized price for a service out of objective proportion by unreasonably lengthening the time horizon. Life costs money. We each pay a reasonable amount to exist in the short- term: food, bills, transportation, some fun, all the works. Taking that short-term expense and multiplying it by a massive number of months is a fallacy, as the resulting big number makes the expense sound much bigger than it really is. So yes, the fact that Netflix adds up to 4 digits over **EIGHT YEARS** doesn't mean Netflix is somehow expensive. It just means eight years is a lot of time, and anything adds up to a lot of money with that sort of timeframe. The bread one person eats adds up to much more than that, but nobody complains bread is expensive.
The fact that there's records of large scale bank transfers between Bitfinex (the exchange they own) and their Tether account before they do any kind of attestation, because they don't have the funds. At this point after completely lying for years about being backed 1 to 1, they changed their policy to say they offered no guarantee that the money was redeemable, and it was backed largely by 'commercial paper' - only nobody in Wallstreet knows who the fucks 'commercial paper' it is. Do you know the last time this much money was managed by a group of employees this small? I mean, they've SMASHED those records now, with 95 billion dollars apparently managed by 5 employees. It was a guy called Bernie Madoff, you may be familiar with his work. The reason that despite having BILLIONS of dollars, they only have a very tiny amount of extremely shady individuals managing it, is because it's very hard to keep a Ponzi scheme private.
