Time in the market beats timing the market… but I swing trade often myself. I only do it on companies I’m ok with holding long term if I had to. I also rarely go all in on a single stock… 20% max usually. Maybe I won’t be a millionaire overnight but I’m consistently up about 50% month to month… and the few “losers” I’m holding I see a lot of long term potential in so… that’s my strategy… do some research, if it stinks of pump and dump or the doors are about to close, on to the next. Long term I like SOPA, plug, scwo…. When I can’t find one I like I’ll liquidate and buy VOO… it’s nice to detach and let the blue chips carry the portfolio sometimes.

I don't know if SOPA will get to that $18 analyst target anytime soon but $10 in the short term seems very reasonable with how low their outstanding shares are. Also the volume today being 20x the total outstanding shares makes me think there is going to be a huge short seller bag holding... or the company will do an offering to bail them out at $12+ a share.
Reminder SOPA owns 75% of all shares of NUTR... which is literally trading 10x the value of the parent. no idea how this was missed so bad but its why the stock is exploding right now.

You obviously weren't around during The SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) battle. Otherwise you'd see how OP is clearly right. Long story short, SOPA was such an insane bill that it would have essentially killed ANY website with ANY user generated content, since just the mere Accusation (NOT Conviction) of a user posting illegal pirated content on it would block anyone from supporting said website financially until it could be proven otherwise in court that there wasn't illegal pirated content posted on it. Sites like Reddit wouldn't exist if SOPA became the law, since advertisers wouldn't even be allowed to give them money. But the mainstream media supported SOPA since their owners owned a lot of the Hollywood content being pirated, so they didn't utter a single word about SOPA, until the entire Internet got together to create a SOPA Blackout day to force people to pay attention to just how disastrous SOPA would be. Only after everyone on social media forced it to become huge story did they finally start reporting on it.
Totally! I aim for 5-10% gains everyday. Short quick day trades on small cap stocks with high volume. Every now and then I’ll catch a runner, but I focus primarily on consistent base bits everyday. Today I caught PLRZ and SOPA. Haven’t caught a 20%+ run in a couple weeks so that was great. I don’t aim for that everyday tho

$SOPA looks like a pretty good play but want some other opinions. All news I’ve been reading about Society Pass has been good and their EPS was far higher then expected in Q2, but it’s still so sluggish and weighed down. Not sure it can go much lower then it is though
I have and have had a few. Overall, considering I am not a professional trader in any way, I have picked well, but mostly sold too soon and missed big profits. Right now REED, ACOR, SOPA, and CASA are my big losers with anywhere from 89-98% losses.

I suggest you play around with a [compounding calculator](https://www.chooseinvesting.com/compound-calculator/) to grasp how it works. And why do you think SOPA is a growth stock and has big potential? I can barely find any basic key-ratios about it. It has only been listed for 2 years and is probably a risky investment since I cant even find key ratios about it and even if I would it would likely just be for these 2 years.
You can look up who's lobbying who and what companies own which lobbyist. When SOPA was a big deal, all my local politicians were being sold off for around 40k in SoCal. Same with Net Neutrality bills. It takes about 4-5 digits to sway politicians on a single issue.
I think some of the new names that have not ran yet will be very good to have on radar. SOPA (Society Pass), Is the one I’m watching, it’s been in a nice uptrend for over a week, and now it’s nearing important break out levels.
