Damn. This is the first decent value stock tip I've seen in a while, especially here. I reviewed the ValueLine and did an SSG analysis on it and it looks reasonable.

It isn't his fault, he is a product of his environment. I once had a SSG tell one of my Soldiers to stop paying their $40k in student loans and declare bankruptcy instead.

Look at the glitch that $SSG had right when the market closed . Hopefully that's just a glitch and not an indicator on how Monday is about to go

SOXS, SSG, TECS etc doing well in pre-market...

Although not a bank but please be USAA please be USAA. Fuckers tried to hike my insurance premium 125 percent despite no moving violations or accidents in over 10 years. Add to that any officer fresh off commission gets a 0 percent interest loan. The kicker here is a SSG with great credit will still get higher rates on a car loan than a baby LT. USAA isn't what it once was. I have since got other car and homeowners insurance and a new checking and savings account.

In 9 years of my army career, I had accomplished a lot, including cultivating extreme suffering. I made the rank SSG, was married, and had a son. I had couldn't reenlist due to my second DUI. I felt like a 3x loser because I lost my career, getting divorced, and had to go to jail (major stress events). It got worse. I'm not going to go into the complications before or after but I am now a licensed therapist in Arizona. These moments of suffering are truly blessings in disguise. One cannot be one wise without suffering. When we are suffering, school is in session because I had to figure out about self and the world. Unfortunately, life gives lessons opposite of school, which is the test first then the lesson. If you want to talk, DM me.

Yes. So when trading individual stocks what do I need to look at? EPS, P/E, target price, SSG, Ebitda? I feel like I see potential in a stock and it tanks. I have Roth's and a 401K that an investment hedge manages. Not looking to invest in ETFs or mutual funds or dividend stocks in an individual account. I would like to have a good understanding how the market works rather than "set it and forget it". Take NVIDIA for instance. Has the highest insider trading but yet ATH. I don't get how the market works. It will most likely beat earnings later this month then crash. I don't get it....

The downturn of companies was inevitable, large profits were disoriented due to consumers staying at home with no expenses making even more money as a result of covid+excessive printing. Both of which weren’t going to last forever Investors were bound to eventually turn to companies like Mcdonald’s and cola. Reliable consistent cash flow generating companies. As they are blue chip, and I’m working with limited amounts. I turned to small - medium caps which could match their reliability to investors. SSG, matched it with consistent eight year earnings growth compounded with consistent cash flow. Market Cap - $108 Mil. I was purchase companies like SSG anyways but the downturn in July just made it cheaper. Obviously there’s a lot more that goes into this but that’s why I was able to generate a decent return this year. Luck was a crucial factor due to my capital injection arriving at a downturn.

For real, I think I’m sol regardless wether it crashes or not, not married and probably won’t be for a while so I can’t buy a house because you can’t get a house in the army unless you have a lot of money, are married or a SSG, wether everything crashes or not. But maybe I’ll be able to but extremely low and maybe my mother won’t have to worry about how to stretch food for another week

SSG is used much more than Gmarket. Gmarket used to be used a lot but their shit customer service and shady people selling stuff on the platform turned a lot of people away. Same reason why Ebay is used less than Amazon. I'd say the market share is SSG > Coupang > EMart > Gmarket

Coupang was initially intending to be bought out by another (like alibaba/amazon). That they're taking the IPO route probably means neither were interested like you said--or perhaps they saw a lot more room for growth. Though how much room is left is yet to be seen. Btw im pretty sure SSG hasn't been part of Samsung (split off between siblings) for a while. Same with how the hotel/catering branch (chosun) got split off from SSG. That said Samsung is a clusterfuck of a group with shares all tied up with one another.

Adding to this, most of coupangs competitors have automated warehouses. Coupangs is incredibly inefficient, but they dont really have the luxury to rebuild warehouses from scratch as of this moment. Even if they currently hold the advantage of having the largest name recognition and usage, their future prospects are a bit on thin ice imo. As for Naver and Emart, Emart is part of the SSG group which has been pushing its SSG.com for the past many years (and Emarts CEO is now also SSG.com's CEO) so Im not sure what partnership deal was struck--ill have to read up on that. But SSG holds a strong niche over dawn delivery that rivals Coupang's (though dawn delivery hemorrhages money like no other from what ive seen, and other parts of SSG's operations are a bit clunky) so Coupang really has strong competitors in all areas--whether it be food delivery (baemin, though coupang does this better), specialty/premium grocery/foods (market kurly), or general products (11th street and many others).

Naver and SSG united against coupang. Naver is big tech company which has its own payment systeme like paypal and has e-commerce. SSG is one of the biggest commerce companies both online and offline. im bearish on Coupang
