Thanks for the link. Missouri is important, as it is AB InBev's home state. When I first read these headlines about the executive order I was confused because I figured they would want hemp beverages in Missouri. Reading the executive order makes me feel like this is just about the cheaper synthetically derived THC products such as Delta 8. From the executive order: * WHEREAS, unregulated psychoactive cannabis products include **delta-8** tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), **delta-10** THC, hexahydrocannabinol (**HHC**), tetrahydrocannabinol (**THC-O**), tetrahydrocannabiphoral (THCP), tetrahydrocannabivarin (**THCV**), and other similar compounds. It would be really odd to name those compounds without naming Delta 9 THC. So this feels to me like they are just pushing out all the smaller players who use cheap synthetic products, like Delta 8 which is derived from CBD. From the MarijuanaMoment article: * Because hemp isn’t a controlled substance like marijuana, there’s no state or federal law saying teenagers or children can’t buy products, such as **delta-8** drinks, or that stores can’t sell them to minors * “We are not talking about simply industrial hemp,” she said. “**What we are dealing with are chemically converted hemp-derived cannabinoids** which are included in almost every hemp-derived intoxicating product on the market today.” So I personally think the end result of this Missouri fight will be for naturally derived Delta 9 products to be ok, while synthetically derived Delta 8 products will not be ok. Definitely very curious to see how Missouri develops though.

It looks like Mighty Kind does mostly CBD and Delta 9 beverages, though some Delta 8. I went to see the wording of the [executive order](https://www.sos.mo.gov/library/reference/orders/2024/eo10) and on first reading it doesn't seem like Delta 9 is included in the ban. *"WHEREAS, unregulated psychoactive cannabis products include* ***delta-8*** *tetrahydrocannabinol (THC),* ***delta-10*** *THC, hexahydrocannabinol (****HHC****), tetrahydrocannabinol (****THC-O****), tetrahydrocannabiphoral (****THCP****), tetrahydrocannabivarin (****THCV****), and other similar compounds"* Delta 8, Delta 10, HHC, THC-O, THCP, THCV....and other similar compounds? It would be weird to not call out Delta 9, considering it's the main compound, right? The [Health Advisory](https://health.mo.gov/news/newsitem/uuid/c32bc962-9fad-4a37-a43e-721c6709a8d2/dhss-issues-health-advisory-regarding-risks-associated-with-consumption-of-hemp-derived-intoxicating-cannabinoids) they linked seems to also separate Delta 9 from those other compounds. *"According to the advisory released by DHSS, hemp-derived intoxicating cannabinoids, including but not limited to delta-8 THC, delta-10 THC, and THC-P, have been found in various products available in the market. These cannabinoids, while derived from hemp, possess psychoactive properties similar to delta-9 THC found in marijuana, and their consumption can result in impairment and adverse health effects."* So at least my initial reading is that Delta 9 THC is still ok, but I'll wait to hear what other reporting says.

Don’t know how many ppl cares but Monex Grouo released FY22 report, which contains details for THCP/Coincheck. In summary, Coincheck’s revenue dropped from ¥12.7B in Q1 to ¥3.16B in Q4. I don’t see this merger surviving, and if it does, down~~~~~~~~~~~~~ we go

Coincheck/THCP looks pretty good to me. Anyone got a strong bear case to talk me out of wasting money on yet another hopeless SPAC?

I like THCP/Coincheck deal, but the no PIPE thing worries me. Are there recent successful mergers that had no PIPE?

The thunder bridge team is a dark horse that no one talks about. LPRO was $40 until recently and INDI was also above $15. As a serial SPAC team they definitely don't want their rep tarnished. I'm definitely watching THCP.

Looked at THCP/Coincheck’s numbers vs Coinbase. Their valuations are actually comparable based on current revenue/net income. I think few other SPAC targets can claim the same. Curious why there is no PIPE, but cautiously optimistic that this will be a good one 🙏

Started a position in TBCP warrants at $0.91 (1/5 warrants) It's the 3rd SPAC from Thunder Bridge, their previous one merged with INDI (commons at 13, warrants at 4). Volume today is massive, it's a mature SPAC that IPO'd in February and they have another SPAC (THCP) currently searching as well so they are hopefully close to announcing

It’s hard to get cbg from the cannabis plant at an affordable price. I’m excited for THCV and THCP and whatever else they come up with. Would rather these guys spend their money on trying to make cool shit than just building greenhouses and shutting them down.
