If one of these Asian IPO stocks is down 90-something percent in a day on no news, chances are it's not done tanking. Look at my post on SKK a few days ago. The stock bounced for...like...10 seconds. Then straight down again and gave up all those gains. Anything here is day trading hot potato. Literally betting red or black on a roulette wheel. Those aren't good enough odds for me. Once again people are using this short squeeze sub as a proxy for knife catching and bagholding. You CANNOT squeeze a stock that drops from $100 to $1. What's the average price for shorts? $20? They are up 95%. The only thing squeezing is their fat wallet. The time to squeeze them was from $20 to $100. If they survived that, some pumpers off this sub isn't going to get them to cover under duress. Like I said you might see a bounce like we did on SKK, but it will be short lived. Look at WTO's trading in late August. Another bounce for 10 seconds post-tank then straight down even more from there. UBXG, HOLO, UCAR, MEGL. The examples are endless for these Asian IPOs. You have one example in HKD of a stock that went from $10 to $2,500 and now there's a lifetime of retail fodder chasing the same dream. Money well spent to whoever set up that HKD pump.
It's a complete lotto ticket. Could go up or down. But based on what I saw out of UBXG or WTO, I'm a little weary of Chinese IPOs right now. Even MAMO I'm a bit scared to hold it even though it produces about 10 cents EPS per quarter. FLYE has positive net income and that didn't stop it from dropping from $6 to $1 in a day.
ChatGPT is going to be the gift that keeps on giving for shorts looking for retail suckers to dump onto. We've just witnessed shit from China like WTO drop 99% in a week and we still have clueless dildos come in here and shill for these shady IPO/SPAC deals. Haven't people learned their lesson yet? If this shit has a CTB of 135% DESPITE it already tanking this much, there is clearly something going on here. This thing was $12 on September 12th and $7 on September 19th. It's $1.21 now. EVERY single short is ABSOLUTELY rolling in profits right now. Why pay a CTB of 135%? Why not just cover at their 80-90% win and be done with it and not have to worry about paying a 135% CTB? Because they absolutely know that this thing is going to cave like WTO or UBXG or any number of China-based IPOs that crapped out for no discernable reason to an outside retail shareholder. And this is coming from the guy who pushed NISN hard on here, to great profits to myself and others. Understand when to long a Chinese stock and when to run the other way. All things point to retail traders needing to sprint far away from GSIW unless they like incinerating their trading account.
Lol this thing is going 60 fyi, refer to UBXG IZM SWIN. While it’s manipulated, the retails that’s in WhatsApp group are constantly pouring thousands in this if u pay attention to the level 2. And so far 2mil + shorts mean they will liquidate ur ass at 60 if not beyond making sure short liquidations goes above $120m+. Anyways I’ll enter my shorts when it’s 60.

UBXG was attacked Friday premarket and was shorted 15 to 20 million shares. The trading was halted several times Friday and they were unable to cover. Premarket up 33% looking at quite a squeeze.
Something *very* odd is going on with $UBXG. Yeah, it’s a Chinese stock, but to drop from over $30 to a low of $1.20 Friday during trading with no news (I can find)… something seems off. Might be an interesting day/swing trade.

Haven't done dd on UBXG yet but at a quick look seems like a china pnd scam so be super careful with that one If they pump it again they will no undoubtedly drill it straight back down through the earths core to china

Not sure, you look like a gamble. UBXG was a pimp and dump scam through what's app. Took the stock from 5 to 35 then this morning shorted the sh$t out of it. Took it down 90%. They haven't covered yet and ate holdin 15-20 mill shorts to cover. Do with it as you will.
So is UBXG worth stocking up on expecting it to at least regain part of its value (which could still be a huge % increase if it goes from $2 to like 8-10) or did something happen with the company that it's actually dead and not worth anything?

UBXG is the biggest pump-and-dump I've ever seen, and yet the pumpers were stupid enough to dump all their shares in one go in the pre-market session rather than in main market over a few days so they could've had more exit liquidity and made more money. Good thing I got out a few days ago.

Whenever a better one comes along. I initially mainly invested in ETFs with a few additional pies on the side to experiment (e.g. buying stocks which went up a lot in the past day, buying stocks which went down a lot in the past day, etc.). Then I realised that, if I searched for stocks which were growing fast and great value, I could beat the market, so I came up with the formula Net Income / Enterprise Value × Net Cash from Operations / Gross Property, Plant and Equipment. That didn't work very well. Then I realised that growth stocks and value stocks are completely different and I should create different pies for them, so I invested in [growth stocks](https://www.tradingview.com/screener/ey3upU4Z/) (stocks with financing cash flows of over $1 billion weighted by ROIC) and [value stocks](https://www.tradingview.com/screener/P0LDalCD/) (stocks weighted by EBIT/EV), which has worked well. Then I realised I could make money way faster by buying the top stocks on r/wallstreetbets and setting a 10% trailing stop loss. Made good gains on ASTS and LUNR and only lost a small amount on RKLB. Then I searched for other opportunities and saw UBXG which I know nothing about except it's worth over $800 million which is too big for a pump-and-dump and it's gone up a ton in the past month. I've lost a small amount on that one but it's only been a few hours and it will recover. But I still kept my growth and value stocks in a separate part of my portfolio. Summary: Just try out different strategies and see what makes the most money.
ASTS is booming whilst RKLB and LUNR are crashing. Follow the trend. If I had held ASTS yesterday rather than selling, I would've made a small amount of money (it's up slightly since I sold) but I wouldn't have made the larger amount of money I made investing in LUNR instead. Now I've moved my LUNR gains back to ASTS and UBXG (I have no idea what UBXG does but they're too large to be a pump-and-dump and they have strong momentum). I used to be more fundamentals-oriented but this is way more profitable.
URGN is up 10% and counting since I first mentioned it. UBXG rose 40% the next day I mentioned it. Just two recent examples that my picks aren't trash. I made a mistake on GWAV, admitted it, moved on.
I just mentioned UBXG in another post but it's already up 35% today. My #1 target is TRSG. It's in the same vein of UBXG, LPA, HKD - Asian or at least non-US low volume IPO mega pump potential. Minimal short interest, only 50K. But when a stock only trades 50K in a day, that's significant enough.
