Just buy asset allocation etfs and forget about it. You buy them like stocks, but they are diversified holdings. Veqt, vbal, VGRO are all good options. Check the stuff under asset allocation in that link https://www.vanguard.ca/en/product?product-type=etf

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought VEQT was all in on stocks and not bonds? Or were you referring to VGRO instead?

Why VGRO over VEQT? Won’t the bond portion of VEQT continue to drag on performance if yields go up?
