Stop voting for these idiots in the Democratic and Republican parties. They are both the worst kind of people! Everyone I know identifies as a libertarian but somehow only Dems and Republicans can get the votes. Seems like a well orchestrated WWE program in Washington.
I miss the days when Black Friday’s were real, where grandma’s clobbering a 12 year old for the last Nintendo switch door buster deal and where penny pinching mom’s show off their WWE skills as the slider entrance opens. Seen a few surprising take downs in my day. Those were the times! Man, I miss them. I’d go just to watch the chaos. After the free entertainment, I’d load up my cart with the best deals, charge up the ol’ credit card and resell my loot on EBay the next week, make a hefty profit, pay off the card and celebrate my “hard work”. Have you heard of the WWE?
UFC and WWE are the same company now.... Is it worth buying the stock? I'm old enough to remember UFC fans bullying WWF/E fans that they watch "fake wrestling", but I guess the WWE fans got the last laugh? McMahon is now on the UFC board.

It's financial entertainment. Ie. WWE
Ha, agree 100% restaurants are brutal cutthroat, high failure rate, tough margins for anything other than big-name quick service, thus a tough investment For sports teams when I joke about my side-gig as a part-time sports team owner, it’s just by trading in the few publically traded choices like FWONK, MSGS, BATRK, EDR, MANU. I reckon sovereign wealth funds enjoy blue-chip sports franchises since are a pretty resilient places to park diversified capital to pace/exceed inflation. I did play WWE for years but they got bought out and delisted, so just the remaining tickers

Imo AI is a bit too much of a technological innovation to compare it to the business strategy of digital distribution of music. Remember a big part of revenue is copy right infringement for music not just concerts. You are also ignore the fact that movies have two formats of film. Digital and film. My guess we will see a resurrection of film (Quentin Tarantino as an example). Also there are "live" TV/movie such as WWE, sports, and reality TV. Remember that with the digitization of music it allowed for a long tail of revenue spread out. Example some people make a nice comfy living through royalties and don't require a record label. That is huge! 50 years ago you were nothing without a record label. My guess we will see more niche movie makers and distributers. Where as before you needed Millions to make a movie that number will go down. The core revenues will be spread out to a long tail of contributors just how we say podcasts do to radio, YouTube/tiktok has done to personalities/influencers, and what digitization did to music. The music/TV world will adapt just how it adapted to streaming services 5 years ago.
Actually, no. Endeavor, the parent company has its own ticker symbol, $EDR. While $TKO is the former $WWE and is the umbrella to hold both the UFC and WWE on the stock market.
I'm 39 but probably in better shape than most of these younger fawktards today. I wouldn't be surprised if they increase the draft limit age to 42 just to fawk over us 82-84 babies. Ghostbusters, Terminator, ninja turtles , WWE by puberty... We're the last savages left.
Yeah, that price movement was wild. And I don't even know what I'm watching. WWE Fed edition.
He’s getting ready for a WWE walk in.
Also, not gonna start a wrestling company debate, but AEW viewership tanking so hard recently only benefits WWE more.
The answer here is probably TKO, not EDR. EDR is a talent agency that also owns shares in the UFC. The question is what would you rather be exposed to, the talent agency business, or the WWE. If your answer is talent agency, then go with EDR, otherwise TKO.
TKO is made up of WWE + UFC Endeavor owns a 51% controlling interest in TKO So to answer your question, buying TKO shares is the closest you can get to owning a part of the UFC. This is not financial advice. I am not a financial expert.
Just shows you the NFL is under the same business designation as WWE. It’s all fake, like futures.

I would look at companies that have moats. TKO (the new WWE and UFC company) aren’t going anywhere and are still in the process of tapping into India and China. I’m an Uber driver in a 2.5m population city, demand is huge, but I can’t comment on the company profitability, just anecdotally. Company makes off like a bandit though. Just think about companies that print money. Magnificent Seven. Think about the future business models not developed yet (space travel, EV, AI (current fad)). Water is getting scarcer (besides desalination), maybe look at Nestle? Semiconductors are huge, military industrial complex and healthcare are huge. Good luck.
That Koala looks like Festus WWE wrestler, same facial expression.
I was just trying to explain what happened today, I don't know about that stuff. Dust hasn't settled yet, and any increase in media rights is both WWE and UFCs bread and butter (UFC has the sweet deal with ESPN). We are also at close to a pivot point between linear TV and streaming. I'm sure you saw the WBD max sports thing. Lots of rumors of WWE taking their other shows to streaming like Amazon or something else and thats not a far fetched thing. Personally I think they are trying to get Comcast/NBC to pony up for the other shows to keep it in the network family. Its a very interesting period in media.
Also, another thing is that endeavour owns 51% of TKO, and endeavour is currently trading around 10b (and tko 15b). TKO = UFC - Endeavours holdings + WWE. That gives an endeavour value of like -$10b. Doesn't make sense. Also endeavour owns the UFC, and the UFC was valued at 12b. Yet endeavour+ all it's properties has a cap of just 10b. That means that Endeavour without the ufc literally has a negative market cap of 2b. Doesn't make sense. Endeavours current holding in TKO is worth 7.5billion. According to that, endevours non ufc assets are worth -2.5 billion. Again, more confusion.
Yeah I've read all about that but it doesn't seem to justify an over $6b market gap. It's weird. Wwe alone used to trade around $8-9b and the UFC is probably worth more than the WWE. Dana himself said the estimate is around 10b, and that was almost half a decade ago.
So WWE signed the 1st of a few of their upcoming media rights deals. The show Smackdown, which is on FOX on Friday nights, will now be on USA starting in Oct 2024. Its their highest rated show due to the network presence of FOX and the fact that it is on over the air television, not cable like USA. This move to cable rather than an over the air network has folks freaked out cause less eyeballs will be on the product in 13 months. Second, they were hoping to get closer to 1.8 bil for a new deal (exec for WWE put this out in an earnings call) and they signed for 1.4. So it's explainable, they didn't deliver on projection and also now less exposure. They still have more shows to sell (RAW and NXT) under new media rights deals, as well as their next day TV rights. So I wouldn't read too much into this as it hasn't settled for good just yet.
That makes a lot of sense. Thanks. But I still don't understand it fully. So the new company TKO owns wholly both the UFC and WWE, the deal was valued at over 21b. Yet TKO is trading under 15b?. From my experience is takeovers, usually the stock exits at the buyout price, or in this case the TKO *IPO*. I'm confused.
I think TKO took the spot of WWE stock on some websites. If you look at Finviz, it has old news for WWE. I remember when Warner and Discovery merged, they changed the ticker, but many sites kept the old Discovery history
WWE stock gettin' smack down....
Wow who watches WWE or USA network. It does bring back memories when I used to watch WWE RAW there long time ago WWE’s SmackDown to return to NBCUniversal’s USA Network in more than $1.4 billion deal
It says WWE average volume is 1.4 mil. Todays volume for TKO was around 800 K. That’s 43% below average volume.
I don’t think it’s likely that people turned on WWE because of an animosity for UFC.
I am not well versed with LIV and vitriol. Any links where I can read about them? Man the Saudis are everywhere. $700bn should surpass atleast a trillion dollars before the end of 2025. Remember there were reports of them buying the WWE too but it never happened and yet there were people buying the WWE stock after that news.
Did recently finalized $WWE and $EDR merger ($TKO) slip under everyone's radar or just mine?

WWE is stupid. Next month there will be a Korean World Order storyline. KWO

Thoughts on $TKO? (WWE and UFC are now pairing Jk together and joining forces)
From the announcement: ...Endeavor holding a 51% controlling interest in the new company and existing WWE shareholders holding a 49% interest in the new company, on a fully diluted basis. [https://www.endeavorco.com/news/article/?id=endeavor-announces-close-of-ufc-and-wwe-transaction-to-create-tko-group-holdings-a-premium-sports-and-entertainment-company](https://www.endeavorco.com/news/article/?id=endeavor-announces-close-of-ufc-and-wwe-transaction-to-create-tko-group-holdings-a-premium-sports-and-entertainment-company) Based on this, if you hold EDR by proxy you hold a stake in TKO, unless EDR decides to start selling off its 51% share of TKO. At present though, if TKO is doing well it will to an extent reflect in EDRs books.
Seems like rights fees have to peak someday and streamers are feeling the pinch, but there's a strike on so who knows. And Disney is already in bed with UFC through ESPN; you could see them paying big and trying to monetize at least the big PPVs as they already do for UFC. I tend to think it's overvalued particularly given the fighter class action against UFC and the MLW lawsuit against WWE for monopolistic practices both moving forward but who knows.
This is the response I got from my broker; Our back office has confirmed that Wealthsimple processed the World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (Class A) (WWE) stock merger to TKO Group Holdings Inc (TKO) yesterday, September 12th. There is no corporate action on EDR, so this merger does not impact your shares.
i bought once I heard the merger news, the UFC(and WWE too honestly lol) is as ruthless as they come and will definitely keep growing
No. Not stupid at all. Every article for the last 3 days gives a great explanation of what happens if you own WWE shares. Nothing on EDR. Hopefully, there will be some clarity on this soon.
I doubt Must and Zuck would ever be anywhere together. If it does happen, I'd love to see a staredown like WWE wrestlers.
Ok so Endeavor is now the majority owner of TKO. It owns 51% of TKO. TKO now owns the WWE and the UFC. If TKO does well, it positively impacts Endeavor's stock as their 51% interest in TKO is an asset on their books. Can TKO go up and Endeavor stock still go down? Yes, Endeavor owns other holdings and if those other holdings decrease in value more than the TKO asset increases in value, then Endeavor's value would likely decrease. TKO stock gives you direct WWE/UFC exposure. Endeavor stock includes that exposure but also the risk/reward exposure to their other holdings and investments.
I’m considering getting puts on MGM and perhaps buying long term puts on TKO that one thing that is UFC and WWE or whatever.
Robinhood chat said that WWE would roll into TKO but they had no notes on EDR rolling into TKO...
WWE & UFC merge. They will trade on the NYSE under ticker symbol TKO
This hurts my brain. So WWE and EDR are still trading and own TKO. How the hell does that affect the parent stocks?
Seems undervalued, 350 global events this year between WWE and UFC (UFC brings in huge pay per view money)and the way they priced the new TKO stock at the same level as the old WWE stock but added another company to it seems like it’d point the stock up
Endeavor Group Holdings holds a 51% controlling interest in the new company and existing WWE shareholders hold a 49% interest on a fully diluted basis. Endeavor will continue to exist as it's own stock trading on the NYSE. With the launch of TKO, WWE shares will cease trading on the NYSE; WWE closed up 2.7% Monday, to $100.65/share. The price of TKO shares is pegged to WWE’s stock price, which has factored in the cutover to the new issue.
The sold IMG academy in FLA. Now own WWE and UFC, maybe some Synergies with TKO.
I've owned WWE since $56. I always was waiting for a buyout, but now their new TV deal is on the horizon, and they're going to get huge rights fees for RAW and Smackdown. I don't know what to think about the UFC side of it, so I think I'm selling here soon.
So WWE and UFC finally merged. UFC fighters better start incorporating tombstone pile drivers and stone cold stunners into their fights Puts on TKO
Shit I had a WWE share and it forgot to sell it, now it’s not even showing up, but I did but a stake in TKO today
dumb question, but what happens to all the old WWE stock now that it's part of the new TKO company? all the press releases said shareholders would get 49% of the new company (with endeavor getting 51%). is there some kind of formula for how the conversion works? (since i'm assuming it's not as straight forward of 2 wwe becames 1 tko) right now the ticker symbol just looks like a serial number in my account.
I am having the same issue with my WWE stock. Let me know what you find out, if you could.
WWE is a lot more entertaining
NFL is dead to me tbh. Watching it is like watching WWE.
No, the post title says WWE and UFC are combining.
Imagine thinking pro and college sports are real 😂😂 #WWE
Does anyone know what will happen to endeavor and WWE stock once they merge to form TKO? Do we have to sell our stock before then or what
Anyone know what will happen to EDR stock shares when they merge with WWE to from TKO on September 12?
WWE / EDR transaction to complete 09/12, will start trading as TKO. Unsure if this is a cash buyout or Cusip change, how/if sceduled dividend x-div of 09/14 will be affected. Maybe a play?
this just reminded me we never did get that Kass vs Harrison WWE cagematch we were promised during the great misery spiral of 2021/2022.
Life hasn’t been quite the same since they renamed WWF to WWE
I'm not sure what you weirdos have against those tall ass Amazonian queens they have out here in the midwest. On a personal tip l love their long ass legs wrapped around my head while she's quivering from Hurricane Tongue breaking her dam wide-open, like it's some WWE Monday Night Raw type action. And some of you dare call yourself "Chad"...well you can just call me Jack the fucking Giant Slayer. And remember boys (and girls), if that throat ain't got no apple, she's definitely ready to grapple!
Why WWE tanking this week
Peacock is king for me. Live Premier League soccer, all the WWE live PPVs, all the new Universal movies 2-10 weeks out of the theatre and On Patrol Live in the linear channels. That:s more TV than I will ever be able to watch.
Well, it’s technically a constitutional republic with democratic principles. Although in reality it’s scripted WWE. 20 years ago it was republicans turn for “Heel” now it’s democrats turn. I expect it to switch back at some point but the democrats are doing such a great job at the incompetent bad guy role so who knows. anyways, they’re all geriatric neocons with extensive black mail material
Who is Jackson and why is JPOW in his tight hole? I can’t imagine he would be tight anymore after Daddy POW is through with him. Does this mean bears r fukt so buy calls? I keep seeing all this talk about “soft landing” but I’m rock hard. What is “bottom line” is that like the TL;DR from Stone Cold Steve Austin? Is calls on WWE the play? Sorry for all the questions, I’m new to investing. Maybe I’ll just play it safe and tomorrow yolo on PYPL calls. With a Dec expiration, you know to give myself time. 🎅
Hey Suga fans, UFC = WWE, all fake
