US Senators Reintroduce 'Accountability for Cryptocurrency in El Salvador (ACES) Act'

r/BitcoinSee Post

As Bitfinex invests in El Zonte Capital and El Salvador forges ahead with bitcoin inclusive monetary policy, U.S. Congress introduced S.3666 (ACES) Act as a dinosaur move against countries moving to include bitcoin. The U.S. gov should learn from Wyoming & El Salvador, to become bitcoin-inclusive.

I believe it there were so many in Barrio de Escobar I saw with very similar sentiments! And most definitely those in similar tough situations that’s usually all they have as the materialistic types of items usually fall by the way side because of price but honor loyalty etc. those are all things that can be obtained and even guarded more valuably in cases I’ve seen! That’s exactly what I was thinking haha that it’s the best for them as it’s risk aversion it absolves them of the crime if the gringos taking over the work and they pay for doing the work! They must really like that honestly haha 😂 Oh young and fearless isn’t an issue but there’s just no out fighting a group of heavily armed men who’re on their land and soil, even if I managed to secure a firearm and get into the fight it sadly wouldn’t be of much benefit, you know what they call 1 man cqb? It rhymes with ruicide haha. I can run some drills some I’m sure better than their best trained but it just wouldn’t be ideal to say the least! Lmao you got me out here reworking my training drills now xD But all fooling aside I just figure to stay clear of looking for drugs and hookers so that way I can’t find any trouble or anything along those lines, they have UCs still there in plainclothes that will try and entrap tourists from what I understand and it’s not uncommon to wind up having to settle things outside the station I’ve also been warned of tourist getting bothered even when carrying the legal 20 gram weed limit or 1 gram Colombian salt on them that’s allowed for recreation so idk I already look sketchy with the tattoos everywhere and hyper vigilant around my surroundings so they’ll probably already think I look like a suspect 😂 I guess you can also grow up to 20 plants as a resident of Colombia which I thought was pretty neat to be able to have your own micro growery pretty much in your home! And the climate is absolutely *ACES* for it man I might have to get that year visa and really *immerse* in my inner botanist haha! No problem at all ya from our chats and your knowledge I really really believe you are going to really enjoy Dom and there’s a new season coming soon as well from what I read it’s just crazy you need to watch it soon so I can start discussing it with you soon 😂! It’s such a wild true story and you have to remember not just anyone can go in these favelas and start filming and bringing in filler actors and all that jazz. These people you see in the background and with the guns are the real deal favela soldiers it’s eerie to see it on the show kind of but interested as all hell too! If you enjoy the favela stuff and all the Latam history around that time era I HIGHLY recommend the movie City of God that’s another true one but about early early days in Rio like 50s into 60s/70s just taking a guess but it’s real good and same thing applies about the back crowd!! That’s wicked cool because that’s why the areas protected actually! Is because the architecture is the most unique in the city and oldest too! So it’s also taken designs from Europe and America and other places and they even have a ship house in El Prado haha it’s just the most interesting place in the city architecturally in my opinion! And yes definitely check out the estrato system in Medellín to see the wealth distribution per area it’s fascinating to see the trends I think! All 3 of those documentaries were fire and led me onto the Griselda blanco story aswell and I’ll have to check that out thank you for sharing the link your a legend! But oh yes that’s a wholllleee other conversations worth of details we could hash about Miami and the building boom that wave of money brought! Also if that interests you look into the development of Cartagena thats Colombias Miami and it’s literally the same types of buildings and has a very very similar story and vibe it’s fascinating really all those coastal towns around the Caribbean and Atlantic coast that’s why they call it the gateway to South America 🥳 I’m going to have to read that article in the morning as it’s past 2am now but rest well my friend and I look forward to continuing our chat take care until then :D
