They need to innovate on the LN. I don't see sidechains having any relevance. It also defines smart contracts in Clarity, which is a bit at odds with the LN's scripts. The point is they can interact, but it's going to be a friction-filled experience. Blockstream by comparison is well-positioned because they develop the Core Lightning implementation, so they can probably take the TARO Bolt spec from Lightning Labs and use it to issue the tokenized securities they already have (BMN, El Salvador bond when it comes, stuff like that). I've been bearish on Stacks since these free LN wallets started popping up everywhere, and companies like Block (CashApp) and others started fully implementing the LN.
Interesting, I wonder how the return on this would compare to Blockstream's Mining Note (BMN).
