Genesis earn is a program run by Gemini in name, but backed by Genesis Trading, a market maker for digital currencies. Gemini is transparency 1:1 backed audited, and DGS (Genesis Trading's parent company) is a public company, but we have no idea as to what the liquidity issue is with Genesis Trading (similar to how Alameda Research was originally the one with liquidity issues at FTX...)

What kind of dogs hit pop and mom bank are you talking bout that's not covered by FDIC or DGS. EU has DGS Deposit guarantee schemes that all banks must join 100,000 EUR. If you're rich you just split your money to every bank in your country, seen wealthy people do that all the time. (Work in a bank)
This post couldn't be more wrong if it tried. What you are showing is the 10y-3m **yield spread**. That is the difference between the yield on long-term debt minus the yield on short-term debt. A negative value only means that currently short-term yields is higher than long-term yields, *both can, and in fact are, in positive territory.* The 10y US government bonds are currently paying a yield of [4.14%](https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/DGS10/#). As a sidenote, bonds are not government debt. The bond market to a large extent consists of corporate bonds and government bonds.
