Hey I just would like to know if it's a scam or not. About 5 weeks ago I met a girl online in a forum. we started chatting and she told me she works at a bank and she likes cryptocurrency. Long story short I also told her that I was a noob in the cryptocurrency market until that point she told me about this website [unicorns.plus](https://unicorns.plus) and about the EMD (which is called Emerald not excellent). So, I got into Binance and all of that and she guided me through the steps on how to transfer money. I never transferred money but I told her I did. that was on July 29 and we are still talking till this day. So if it was a scam or something wouldn't she have stopped talking to me or block me or whatever on whatsapp? Plus she does have knowledge about this since she has told me about how order coins will rise and fall and she has been very precise till this point. What do you guys think?

oh this is definitely a scam. i got introduced to EMD by someone i met online as well. it's a classic chinese online dating crypto scam. i did a lot of research into EMD too, and the only one i could find was Emerald Mine, which supposedly could be mined. so what the scammer told me about how the crypto is in a private invite only trading phase before going public, became very fishy. i then decided to dig into the website data for unicorns.plus, and unsurprisingly, the website has only existed since May 2021, and is hosted somewhere in china. i then looked into what their EMD ticker supposedly stood for, and on the site, it lists it as Excellent Medical Device crypto, with a sort of legit looking website. but if you read the contents closely, there's some chinglish in there, with contradictory information. after looking at the website data for Excellent Medical Devices, it turns out that the website also has only existed since May 2021, and is also hosted somewhere in china. at that point, i was convinced that it is a scam, but i acted like i still trusted the online person i met, and simply tried to "warn" them that i think the whole thing is a scam. the "woman" then tried to convince me further that it's real, by sending me this 80+ page PDF supposedly written by the creators of the crypto, describing what it does. now that was the final nail in the coffin, because clearly the entire document was done through Google Translate, because it was just chock full of bad grammar and chinglish. at that point i just told the scammer to pay someone who's actually a native English speaker, to write their scam documents, and cut off contact.

I think this is happening to me right now. I linked to a girl on tinder. She says she is Singaporean but keeps hounding me about this EMD. The crazy thing is that she also gave me the unicon.plus link to it and said that was the only way to sign up for it. Thanks for posting it this. Hopefully more people will become aware when they google search it.

Assume it’s real, why would you buy EMD in the first place? Ask him, why did he invest and what was his due diligence and guide him back from the scam from there. Just don’t be to contradictory, otherwise he’ll just be defensive and ignore you

After a large early bump where the developers profits large and leave everyone holding the bag.
