Yeah, I get it from the grifter side. From their side it makes complete sense, still stealing in a manner of speaking. As an accountant, I am looking at it from the ad provider. If I am chief of marketing at let’s say GNC. My online ads team tells me that for Meta we spent $100,000 on views from the site, and on X we spent $250,000 on the site. The average bot traffic is currently is approximately 10-40%. Which means a $35,000-140,000 is being spent on bots looking at the ads. Hell a bot replied on my comment on some stupid woke bad shit. The point is they keep the ads on Meta and X for the 60-90% of traffic, but at what stage does corporations look at these bad practices and start pulling their ads from these platforms? $140,000 is still stupid high, for bot view ads, even for the high side in regards to $350,000 spending total.
