I do both. I buy and hold bitcoin on wallets. I invest in Fidelity Zero Large cap index fund and GOF closed end fund. Index fund has no expense ratio and tracks the SP500 very well. GOF pays good dividends, but also appreciates with the markets. This is my long term retirement setup, along with my company matched 401k. You should NEVER go all in on one asset. Spread it around to hedge yourself. Along with my retirement investments and bitcoin, I also buy gold and silver coins, rare and ancient coins, autographed hall of fame sports memorabilia, and firearm ammunition. What's funny is my best investments so far are bitcoin and ammo. I bought thousands of armor piercing AR15 rounds for $.30/bullet back in 2018. During the 2020 riots, it was worth over a dollar per bullet. 3x in just a two years. Ammo outperformed every mutual fund in existence, hahahahaha! And no capital gains taxes on ammo!

If you did, you would've understood that GOF refers to applying selective pressure to a culture of viruses. A portion of viruses in the culture will mutate in some genetic direction, and only an even smaller fraction will mutate a couple of times in a row. Why is that important? Because, as stated in Section 2.3 of the paper I sent you, the genome sequences that are most similar to the Sars-CoV-2 still differ from it by 5000+ genomes. This means, if one genome sequence were to be evolutionary driven to the other, 5000+ mutations in a row. No known GOF technique, past or present, is able to do that. Not Dr. Baric's, no other prior to his, no other possibly developed after his. ​ I'll repeat myself: fortunately the biology and chemistry do not care about geopolitics. If people in power want to use these sciences to advance their particular agendas, then the only thing I can do is to show people how the science works. Your response to that was to ask me if I knew how gain of function worked and read everything about everything you posted. Yes. That is EXACTLY "overwhelming with a bunch of different arguments".
My man, you are arguing this specific virus could've been created via GOF. I asked you if you knew how GOF worked, and that's "overwhelming you with a bunch of different arguments"?????
1) Do you know how GOF works? 2) Did you read Section 2 in its entirety or just the first phrase of the first subsection?
I agree that it's catching up to where the value should have been. I also agree that it did a bit too fast. But I don't GOF because I don't plan on selling anytime soon.
