Read the whole thing, you got scammed. This person has no way of contacting your parents so you will be fine on that regard, but you lost $130 and will never receive it back from this person. I’m not sure if you’re scared because $130 is a lot to you, or the fact your parents may find out you are trying to buy HRT with cryptocurrency, but relax and move on. You learned a life lesson for cheap, don’t do the same mistake again.
When I say pros, I mean like Two Sigma, JS, PDT, HRT, Optiver, etc. Data driven statarb and market makers. I work in the industry. There are strategies that work. The data costs run around mid-5-figure sums per month even for a startup. The reason publicly accessible hedge funds underperform is two fold. Public funds don't need to beat the market to sell well in their niche. They're selling diversification. Achieving a sharpe of 1 with 0 correlation to SPY is plenty good enough. Beyond that, the strategy is not worth offering publicly. The best are all ran prop.

Where would you suggest trans women compete if not female sports? The effects of HRT clearly put trans women at a major disadvantage to cis men, so not there, and you all are unhappy about trans women competing in women's sports, despite there being proof that's more appropriate.
