If you've been found guilty of tax evasion that means that they did file legal papers, did win in a court and you were absolutely given a bill *before* being charged with tax evasion which you chose not to pay which caused the liens and garnishments to begin with. I don't think you understand that lien is a *legal document* so by definition in order to get one you do have to go to court. Let me restate that because I'm certain you don't care about the above and it's too many words: **IN ORDER TO GET A LIEN AGAINST SOMEONE YOU HAVE TO WIN A COURT CASE.**
One means to help mitigate some of this is IF a lender returned a portion of your collatoral with each pay down of principle in other words never having to wait until original loan is paid off to get full access ownership back like sort of happens with real estate loans. Another awesome feature would be if a percentage of bitcoin is returned as its price climbs? Like if the price doubles (100% appreciation) then maybe at least 20% would be unlocked or whatever. Another idea is to make it much more like realestate where instead of a lender HOLDING your bitcoin? All they get is a LIEN against your account meaning they can ONLY ever take it if you default on paying them back! Having some lender HOLD ones's bitcoin seems insanely risky I agree! I mean banks dont get home titles transfered to them right? Same with car lenders....they merely hold a LIEN on the amount lent and even then only the unpaid balance! NOT ALL of it!
