ooh. Failed ICO's - now there's a category. How about CPY (CopyTracker) and MCI (Musiconomi) - I'm sure I have a few others lurking in the depths of my Ether Wallets.

You should never invest more money than you’re willing to lose but it doesn’t hurt to throw $10 or $20 that he would piss away on something else in your life and possibly have a 200 to 300% return or even more under here analogy nobody should invest in any stock they all have the potential to felt like an Enron or WorldCom/MCI or Lehman brothers or lose a home because of people scamming the real estate market like 2008 so yeah tell everybody to stand on the sidelines and let only the brave and super wealthy make all the money right sometimes you have to be a gunslinger and take responsibility for your actions you bet too big and you can lose big but sometimes if you bet big sometimes you can win huge

I clearly do not understand stocks. I don’t think they have intrinsic value. I can own stock in a company but remain completely hostage to selfish and disastrous decisions made by the company executives who owe me nothing. A corporate scandal can quickly destroy a stock (MCI Worldcom, Global Crossing, Enron, etc). I think of bitcoin as an unimproved parcel of land and commonly as a somewhat rare collectible. In the former, bitcoin represents future opportunities because the value of bitcoin almost certainly will continue to increase. Bitcoin is a claim on land on the moon. Someday, I’m going to build on this land, but not today. Until then, bitcoin is a collectible which only has value to those who already share the love; a bottle of rare single malt scotch, wine, a painting. The value will likely increase, but not everyone will want to buy because not everyone chases the same goals. Jack White paid $300,000 US for Elvis Presley’s first pressed recording. There is absolutely no reason to do this except for love. if it was about profit, there are faster ways to make money than reissuing an old Elvis song.

It grows tax-free at 10 - 15% per annum, and when you retire the tax man comes. IRA's and 401k's give people the ability to leverage pre-tax dollars but they don't take into account things like inflation, bear market cycles at the time of withdrawal, taxation laws at the time of withdrawal. It's a kind investment but more in line with closely controlled savings than a money maker. Folks with 401ks that allow the holding of company stock need to beware, ask any former employee of MCI Worldcom, Enron, and other companies that cookbooks. This has not stopped, we just have a for shit SEC in the United States right now, there will be new and huge books that do not add up, coming soon. I'm certain it's true in other countries. Let's take LK in China 2020 as an example. Take a look at www.muddywatersresearch.com these folks are often balls on short-sellers and they are not afraid to share the love.

Like a lot of people, gambled it away on shitcoins that promise to be the Future of Finance, half of which probably don't even exist anymore. I think the only thing that remains from the 2017 run is a stack of 25 BNB that I bought for a dollar each in their initial offering, that I just haven't bothered to remember the password for. I've got a bit more than 0.2 BTC at the moment, but nowhere near my all-time high. I did get a nice '94 MCI bus out of it though.
