This is already being done to varying degrees. Miners and junior explorers are starting to issue metal-backed NFTs, as well as selling NFTs tied to carbon tax credits. The way these companies operate, issuances would be for set periods of time and lot sizes, so exactly what you're thinking in terms of mintage but they aren't calling it a MSD or anything like that. The idea being to tie buyers in with a tax relief credit or giving a share in the metals being extracted. For what it's worth, it isn't really a good buy op. Miners, commodity firms, and banks already issue ETFs/ETNs backed by metals, and the supply of notes far outpaces the supply of metals. There are more silver ETNs than there is silver. You would be buying a piece of paper that gives you claim to silver, for example. Same would work with crypto varieties, gold luck converting it to physical.

I find it bizarre so many people are enthusiastic for this news on this sub. Listen, I was mad that Robinhood restricted trading, however, it turns out the situation was far more complex than that odd Citadel conspiracy. The change in collateral requirements really limited them and the other free brokerages. If we all piled into eTrade instead of Robinhood, we would all be hating on eTrade instead. It's high time us former (or current) GME apes just acknowledge the facts, stop trying to act like Robinhood was more malicious than it actually was, and just admit we didn't know enough about the stock market at the time. Anyways, moving to the topic at hand, despite the fact that most of the hate towards Robinhood stems from the GME fiasco, this attempt by MA to restrict Robinhood has NOTHING to do with that at all and it was actually commenced in December 2020. In fact Bill Gavin, the Secretary of the Commonwealth, wanted to stop GME trading [himself[(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AA5cDvMn1Ks)! They are just going after Robinhood because it's the most accessible to the retail trader and you have to be absolutely naive to think they won't go after crypto when it becomes more accessible, especially with all the volatility in this market.

Wow you misunderstood what I said, I said I don't want an electric car, but you'll have to pry my MSD ignition module put of my cold dead hands. I like fast cars with some style and electric cars are slow (anything over 10 second quarter is slow), and they have absolutely zero style. 1. Turn on your computer and modem 2. Install your communications software (refer to the software's documentation). 3. From DOS, change to your Windows directory and type MSD. Type C for COM Ports. Find the line UART Chip Used and match it with the COM Port column to which you attached your modem to determine the UART type (usually 8250, 16450, or 16550). Remember your UART type for step 5. 4. Start your communications software program. 5. Set the software's serial port (baud) rate based on your UART type. Also, fix or lock the serial port rate (if referred to as autobaud, select OFF). UART Serial Rate 16550 115.2K or 57.6K bps 16450 38.4K bps 8250 19.2K bps 6. Specify the serial (COM) port used by the modem in your communications software if working in DOS. Check the serial port to which your modem is connected. 7. Specify your modem's flow control setting: RTS/CTS for hardware flow control (highly recommended) or XON/XO FF for software flow control. You should disable the flow control method you are not using.
