While TARI is just beginning, it is not possible to know if it is or will be 'worth it' for a while. When their mining first went live, I was finding over 8 coins a day, but as they tweek their mining application, mining went to 0 for about a month, and then went to less than one coin per day. I am now mining between 2-5 coins per day. The current worth make it a break even for the cost of Electricity, so, there is no downside, for me, at this point. Their crypto is very low value, becuse so little has been found/mined and it is late to the game. I recall having passed 3 or 4 chances to receive free bitcoins when it started. I could have had 10 whole coins for free, when no one knew what it was or if it would be of value. I figured, wrongly, that it would be a big joke. Will TARI XTM ever hit Bitboin value? No. Etherium? 95% probably not. 100s of dollars? well, TARI is doing other things that might bring more 'value' to their whole ecosystem, so that is a coin toss. TARI XTM will surely pass Dogecoin, due to the political nature of anything connected to Elon Musk. I see and hope for a 3 year value of $10 USD and a 10-15 year value of $90-$150 USD.

Sounds like you didn't look into tari enough. TARI is backed by the Monero Devs... I'd say tari is gonna be untraceable just like Monero, so yeah it's worth mining if you have a rig as it doesn't require a high-end rig to mine meaning no high electricity consumption. Plus mining is free. Nothing to lose.. disclaimer I'm not mining it myself... I mined some myself.. but I decided that I'm gonna buy some of it....
I think for small caps MEXC would be better option as they regularly list new potential projects that are not listed on any cex yet and some of them performed really well such as TARI TSUKA and they also listed APE coin before Binance. Yeah Binance/Kraken are good for large caps but large caps are available in almost every cex. Additionally I never heard of any security breach in MEXC.
