Yes. All of them! I’m supposed to be rich by now. Bitcoin was supposed to be a store of value and a hedge against inflation. XXX coin was going to make a booming digital economy, XYZ coin was going to be the Eth killer, XY coin was the Next Big Thing, ZYX coin was making global payments more accessible, YXZ coin was farming astronomical rates of return, the list goes on and on and here I sit waiting for the next coin to throw my money in

So don’t use “XYZ” but use “ZYX” because it’s what I do! Is that about right? Or should I just do the opposite? I can never tell if it’s Do as I do or Opposite week! Ty for the info though.

How is it a nice touch? No one really knows what to do with an NFT, the whole idea is dying pretty quickly, as just having a reference point on a blockchain that says "key XYZ owns asset with reference ABC" is actually not glamorous and people don't know what to do with it. Also, if there is another reference on a separate blockchain that says "key ZYX owns asset with reference ABC", then what? Who's the arbiter? This is more likely to be a cryptobro copycat that'll be gone in 2 years.

I might make a separate post about this, but I'd like to read more about crypto, while getting away from the lower intelligence/pumping posts you so routinely see in the crypto world. I'd like to learn about some of the theoretical use cases for crypto, projects that are currently being worked on, and current problems that are trying to be solved. I don't want to read about how XYZ Coin is going to revolutionize and disrupt ZYX Industry because that means nothing.

As far as I understand it they're used in converting one coin to another. So if you wanted to convert your XYZ to ZYX you'd sell XYZ and buy USDC, then you can hold the USDC until it's up a little bit and use it to buy ZYX for a little extra profit. Also, if you are waiting for a dip or something like that you could put/keep your money in USDC which earns interest (on coinbase at least not sure about anywhere else) and when the time is right use the USDC to buy the dip. But I'm kind of a newbie so take what I say with a grain of salt and I'd love to hear where I'm wrong from someone with more experience.
