Commons can’t be redeemed through the broker or CRHC? I’m only holding commons. No units or warrants. I had hoped to sell at $10 but then the stock was halted. I see now it’s been converted to CCRHF on my brokerage so possibly the new stock is no longer halted.
CRHC (shares) is trading at $10.00. CRHC-UN (units) at $9.98, probably because most brokers will charge a fee to split the units into shares and warrants (the latter are close to worthless).

Limit orders can't execute during a halt. Retail can easily pull orders during a halt. CRHC has been halted for hours now.

No, when a deal is called off, all redemption requests are cancelled. So it is now a $828 million trust again. There is nothing in the press release about a termination fee, don't think Allwayn would be required to pay one because the minimum cash requirement wasn't met. The press release says "CRHC’s Board of Directors will consider in due course CRHC’s next steps, including whether to seek an alternative business combination. On September 7, 2022, CRHC shareholders approved an initial extension of CRHC’s expiration date to December 11, 2022."

What do you think? You originally said that you think they terminate the next day or following day? Sounds like they may still at least be trying to work with CRHC on this? I'm not sure how quickly they'd have to notify us of any termination letter.

Just a quick summary of the CRHC minimum cash situation. Please correct any errors. That **adds up to $688 million**. That leaves 7,460,251 shares after redemptions and about $75 million in the trust.
I’m sure CRHC is trying to find a solution. I wouldn’t be surprised if Allwyn is holding them to the minimum cash condition come hell or high water. Sure PFF has more cash, but they’ve also got CRHC over a barrel. If I were them, I’d be trying to take them for every incentive warrant and share they have before I saved the deal. The bigger question mark is the owner of Allwyn. He’s already a billionaire. The market for de-SPACs sucks, and before the deal closed he saw his company’s market cap dump by 16%. I’m sure he’s not thrilled about that, especially after all the UK risk vanished. He can afford to wait for more favorable conditions and keep taking $100M out of the business every couple of years.
I've been thinking about this. I have no real basis for this but, I just really don't think Allwyn scuttles this if even within a few $10mm. Allwyn CEO said: "I am very pleased that Allwyn will again have the support of PPF Group as we pursue the growth opportunities that I believe an NYSE listing will help to accelerate." Assuming that's still true, starting this process all over again will cost them more in opportunity. So what maybe we haven't heard anything? If I was Allwyn, I would absolutely be using this as a negotiation technique. CRHC is extremely connected and PPF has already shown ability to go deeper. They may be hoping they can use this to raise more money. Assuming that's still allowed at this point. Anyways, that's my arm chair CEO'ing.
Waiting for CRHC updates. Think today was a severe overreaction with added fuel from IPOF/IPOD liquidation, DWAC shenanigans, and overall market weakness. Thanks. If you look at their investor deck on slide 32 or 39, it's very clear those dollars are not in the CRHC pot. The side letter is about cleaning up the existing equity structure concurrent with the SPAC deal. I still don't think that money counts toward satisfying the minimum cash condition.

Maybe not, at least for redemptions. Foreign companies who complete deals with US SPACs **follow different rules** from US companies. US companies are required to release the redemption figures in a "Super 8-K" filing within four business days of the closing, if they haven't released them sooner. Some foreign companies haven't released redemption figures until weeks after the business combination closes, and then they only put the information in the F-1 registration statement they filed to register the PIPE shares and common underlying the warrants. However, the wording at the end of the latest earnings conference call you quoted does sound unusual.

But if you were CRHC, wouldn't you have released something saying, these were our redemptions, we've satisfied all conditions to close but gaming approvals, deal is going to happen when those are done? It doesn't make sense to me that the sponsor wouldn't have made that info public if that was the case.
That news article (I saw it when writing the post) is the only place I've seen the convertible notes referenced as a source of cash. My read of the docs is that the convertible notes are on Allwyn's books, not CRHC's, and they don't contribute to cash to close. I think that was sloppy journalism by SPAC Insider. The call happened 6 days ago on the 13th after the vote to approve the merger by CRHC shareholders. I think CRHC wants the deal to go through very badly, but the vote and redemption did not need Allwyn's consent or participation.

CRHC is a deSPAC. While a SPAC, it had a a price protection level (NAV). This meant that people could redeem their shares for that price no matter what it was currently trading at - essentially dissolving the shares. This happens for up to a specified period, after which the company will allow people to reverse their redemptions (buy the shares back at NAV price). Basically, during those periods, if share price is consistently below NAV = lots of redemptions, few redemption reversals. If consistently above NAV = few redemptions, lots of redemption reversals. Lots of redemptions = tiny float, high SI and a lot of short covering, typically. Hence the share price can spike rapidly just after redemptions are known.

Is CRHC even a redemption squeeze play? There's a lot of Institutional backing and the bonus shares incentive makes it so that more people will probably vote to keep their shares. All of this makes CRHC seem like a dumb squeeze play.

CRHC warrants are one of my last remaining holdings. Only 1k of them so small by standards around here. I bought in during peak hype - $2.32 basis. As long as the merger goes through, I plan on holding as long as possible. It would be nice to break even. I'm still sitting on MVST and NSTB warrants as well. Those are my reminders that I'm bad at this and should stay out.

tldr on why $CRHC could be a low float play?
CRHC is massive trust + non redemption agreement. So harder for it to be a low float compared to even even GETY. Doesn't mean it can't happen though.
In my experience the big low floaters tend to come out of nowhere so I'm sticking with CRHC as well. It's been listed for so long at this point that it's mostly arbs and the cheapness of the options tells me that people aren't as likely to front run and lower redemptions. 200+ IV for calls on something that hasn't even had a vote yet is dumb.

CRHC (Cohn Robbins Holdings) - I got a letter from Fidelity about having to vote. Read the options but was hoping someone could dumb it down for me. I bought units at $10.10 and the price today is $10.00. Which way would you advice me to vote? TIA.
