Look at League of Legends. A free to play game that has grown into an absolute behemoth and a majority of the revenue comes from skin sales. SKIN SALES! People are collectively spending millions (if not billions) on cosmetics for their in-game characters that they’ll never actually own or benefit from. When you buy an NFT you now OWN that asset. Imagine a 1/1 Ezreal skin that the player who has it actually owns it AND has the ability to re-sell it on an open marketplace. Boom. Checkmate! NFTs, the metaverse, blockchain; it is, collectively, the future. Just be thankful that you’re even reading this post (because most people haven’t even gotten this far yet).

The skin you buy in FN is an NFT, and when you jump into playing COD, you have the same skin? Is that how it works? But that's got nothing to do with it being an NFT? LMAO and fucking valve and each of those companies literally make every single dollar in revenue from selling those skins, Valve literally gets a twenty percent cut of every single fucking transaction on their store. With a crypto/NFT not only is it inconvenient as fuck as you have to transfer the NFT from your wallet into the game itself (which the devs have to support) but valve and literally every company implimenting this would lose every single dollar they make on skins.
