I’d add in OPEN, OPAD. Z and RKT are both solid here. Money will change hands in housing somehow and all of these will help facilitate the next push. If you really want to go for the moonshot get FNMA and FMCC. I am bullish on housing - 24 months timeframe.

WTF are you doing trading so many contracts with your very first trade? Do you realize that 1 contract = 100 shares? You're trying to control 5,500 shares of LDI and 10,000 shares of OPAD. And you get all the leverage that comes with that, good and bad. All $4400 of your money is likely gone. LDI would need to be over $4.93 for you to make any money and OPAD would need to be above $5.21.

Congrats on your first YOLO trade! You are basically long a ton of lottery tickets that bleed every day until you either get a huge move or they go to zero. Rate cuts do not automatically moon random tickers. The Fed moves interest rates, but whether LDI or OPAD double in price is about company fundamentals and flows, not Powell’s adjectives. Do you have a chance? Sure. But the math is ugly: the market already “bakes in” expectations, and those premiums you paid are priced to make your side the underdog. Most call buyers lose because direction + timing + magnitude all have to line up. If you really want to learn options, size down. Trade one or two contracts, track how implied vs realized vol plays out, and figure out why the premiums are where they are. That is how you turn optimism into edge. Good luck.

I would reduce the number of contracts while you can. These are not ITM so they’re all extrinsic value. There’s more than 50% chance that they expire worthless. Even if they don’t expire worthless, there’s a high likelyhood that you won’t even hit break even. I wish you luck but the probabilities are against you. For LDI, your breakeven is 4.93. For OPAD, it’s 5.21. If you are new to options, start smaller like 1 contract. By increasing your size, you will only lose faster while you are learning and trying to figure things out.

OPEN is the meme stock of the season and there will always be people "buying the dip" as long as we're in a bull market My advice is cover the short and take the L. If you feel the need to short something stupid, just do it with OPAD which ran just as much as OPEN but is a 1000% shittier business (also they just announced an ATM and will probably start unloading shares soon)

Im not sure who we are trading against. Is this some bot trading? Only reason OPAD price is not below 2$ ist that people still think its comparable to OP EN. Holy cow push OP EN how much you want, at least OP EN has no share offering plan and no selling pressure in january with the recent news like OPAD has. Once those two are decoupled OPAD is dead within minutes. Im losing faith in humanity if people dont understand those two are not the same fundamentally.

It's astonishing how OPAD is still over $5 after announcing a $100M ATM... reminds me of BMNR just after their $5B announcement, first couple of days people the stock kept going up for no reason, then they started hammering the ATMs OPAD will be even worse as they're trading 5x above fair price Shorting the stock is basically free money as long as you don't over-leverage yourself Buying ITM/ATM puts will pay off even more as soon as they start selling shares, problem is knowing when that's gonna be (I'm guessing this week)

I dont think you guys understand just how far UNDER MARKET im talking about.. these guys are professionals.. a deal is a deal is a deal.. even if market goes down 20% in a year they are still profiting.. if the housing market crashes these guys still profit if they are doing it right. Long Put will not have liquidity to make profit. Only way for me would be Short Calls, but im not risking my money if they try to pump it again. I was just following some of the guys from this P and D group and ive seen they posted here about OPAD and the post still exists, so i want to warn people who got tricked into it.

Shows confidence that it wasn’t offloaded before the market closed especially on a long weekend, not trying to get rid of the stock. Look at OPAD for example, no confidence there because of how meme/volatile it is, offload before the weekend
$10 and below stocks generally carry more risk, otherwise they wouldn't be so "cheap". OPEN and OPAD have high volatility right now with all the added attention. ACHR and WULF also have decent premiums and volume. RIVN tends to be fairly range bound as well. What is the objective? Why do you only want stocks at $10? If it's lack of capital, have you researched synthetic covered call/poor man covered calls where you buy a long dated call (1 year or more out) and then sell covered calls against that as the collateral. You can find these at roughly the same capital requirement and can control 100 shares of higher value companies.
AIRE (realpha tech) is better. I think could be the next OPEN or OPAD. Take a look at the awesome numbers. Huge revenue increasing. Heavy shorted and with hype on X.
