I don't think any will. WEN (Wendy's) is the closest. It was $20 a share a few years ago. It is $7 now. I could see it going 4x or 5x by the end of the decade. I don't see it going much higher than that however.

Why would you buy $48k worth of this? Even with the dividend it isn't worth it. You are probably in the territory of selling slightly OTM CCs to recoup your losses, but WEN has piss poor premiums so you can't really sell calls at your cost basis and you'll be forced to sell calls that would be a loss if exercised in hopes that the stock doesn't move above the strike.

Software names are expensive for years on end. Some concerns about AI disruption happen and software re-rates massively. This has turned into - as most investing things do today - a view of two extremes - "PEOPLE ARE SAYING SOFTWARE IS OVER" vs "THERE IS NO AI DISRUPTION, MUH V SHAPED RECOVERY WEN?" - and missing the possibility that reality is somewhere in the middle. People piling into companies that they've had no interest in for years just because they're down a lot and then when the dip becomes a 7 layer dip they are asking to speak to the manager of software. "Literally every single day there’s a new viral article on how and why these companies aren’t needed anymore. The more it gets pushed it creates a perception of a new reality. " It creates a perception of a new reality to people whose investing time horizon is "until the line stops going up."
