Hate to break it to you but serial dilution and then flat or down price for years with a sudden gap up is one of the most repeatable setups in biotech. You must be new to the space. As mentioned multiple times, it happens because companies fund operations via equity raises until some catalyst resets the valuation, plain and simple. Many 10x-20x biotechs have done the same and the same "investors" complained and sold. Here are just a few tickers of many that mirror this behavior to help you understand the game: NVAX $4 to $300+ CLDX $2 to $40 CLDI $.20 to $19 AGEN $1 to $7 Daily price is meaningless.

I have my toe in. Not my big toe, one of the smaller ones lol. I think there are better plays with RILY, AGEN, and a handful of others.
CZOO and AGEN treated me well last week. I will get into CZOO again when it dips to 10.30 or lower and then jump out when it goes up. CORZ is a good since bitcoin is rising in price. But for next week I am looking to get into ATHE, GCTE, SOUN, HOLO, and NKGN.
It wasn't really all pennystocks, and it took like 2 weeks, really. I just finally sold for profit. VRT, CLSK, CORZ, ALCC, AGEN, AGRI, CZOO. I wish I was awesome. I am just being a lot more cautious to stay in the green. VRT I have had since last year, so I noticed an unnatural dip quickly and bought more at $75 last week and sold today at 92. I knew the earning date was coming up, but that's no guarantee. Sometimes, there is a sell off after the earnings call. Technically, it hit over 94 on earning, but I wasn't smart enough to sell it then. With CLSK I hold low-cost shares and buy more to sell during dips. (It has yet to dip as low as I bought it) I noticed a crazy dip and bought in more at 14.67 on 4/17 and sold before it was 20 I was scared of dilution, so I sold quicker than I should have. I ended up moving my winnings to CORZ for a 6% increase and sold them this morning because of a stop loss. ALCC is a SPAC that hit 17 last week. I heard someone talk about and FOMO bought on 4/23 and sold for $60 profit cause I am chicken. Honestly, a lot of picks are from here, but the most money I made was from things I actually knew about. I will make a post if I have a theory on price movements on one of my stocks. VRT hit a low was 72.58 on 4/22, so a better trader could have made a lot more money. There will definitely be regular dips with CLSK, and VRT will see dips a few weeks before its next earnings call. You definitely want to get CLSK if it dips. That was definitely my biggest winner.
So we will see a bear on AGEN next week, i hoped for better news from them.
I am no expert, but I have been looking at a lot of reverse splits after BCAN appear in this group. As soon as it reverse splits, the price will drop. HOLO stock reverse split on the 2/2, the price went down, and then a bump up on 2/7 caused it to go up for over a week. But that is not how it usually goes from what I can see. DCFC did a reverse split on 4/2 so you can follow that one. If AGEN does reverse split, I might test something out. I never understood why anyone would short a stock under a dollar, but it makes a little more sense if there is a reverse split. Are you trying to pump it for squeeze? I can't add images to this, but I can tell you the borrow rate for shorting AGEN is cheap, and there are still shares available to short. Take a look at BCAN, DCFC, CTRM, EMKR, LGVN, and see if you can come up with a plan to profit from reverse splits. I have been looking at them just because I didn't understand just how quickly BCAN lost value.
I'm bag holding AGEN and trying to figure out if I should just dump or sit and keep my fingers crossed... I mean I guess I *technically* got it at a good price...

Firstly, yes always do your DD. If you don't, you might as well just pick a random stock through a screener and hope that it goes up. It's just like a slot machine at that point. I will say that I do look at people's suggestions on here, but always always always do your own DD. There's a few posts on here that are just to get more volume onto the stock so that a bagholder can close their position. I use a handful of different sources to do DD. Yahoo Finance, Company Website, Presentations, Earnings call, news sources, etc. The most beneficial is what comes directly from the company and most yahoo articles. They're normally filled with the important financials, product information, company forecasts, etc. It's also important to take a look at the graph and use technicals. All types of information - from what the business does, who the main leaders are in the company, the products, financials, yearly estimates, cash flow, business model, contracts, FDA approvals. It all plays into the stock price especially for penny stocks. Every stock i'm currently invested in is less than $2. Right now most of my portfolio is split between $VLD and $KULR. I've had $AGEN and $GGR for a while before that and just recently sold.

AGEN, that a-hole CEO that announced a rs when the stock is in uptrend. If he had not done that, stock would have been 1$ - 2$, but I guess that was the point - screw over retail.

There are never guarantees. CEO sentiment is not great, I agree. IF they can get more funding, I think $AGEN is unstoppable, despite the CEO. If you noticed, he bought up a shit load of shares on the dip (350K+) after he announced they would vote on a reverse split in April. Some believe this was a protection move on his part to avoid being ousted by the board.
Definitely. $AGEN is in an interesting spot. CEO sentiment seems negative. The sheer number of quality pipelines they have seems really impressive and not fluff that they should offload. They obviously have some fundraising challenges but it feels like it's self-inflicted and because of share price rather than lack of quality trials in the pipeline. I'm in just to ride up a bit leading to the earnings report but will probably bail just before earnings and consider coming back in after the split (if it passes vote). If it doesn't pass, I probably will not be back in. There are some avenues for revenue that they can't current take advantage of because of share price. Some companies simply restrict investment when you're sub-$1 or even sub-$5 so there are likely some very interested parties that currently have their hands tied.

My personal belief is that $AGEN will be acquired. The reason I believe that is we haven't had news on the sale of non-strategic assets or the partial sale of any milestones/royalties whenever $AGEN wanted to raise additional cash. I think they are happy using milestone grants like the $25M they got from Bayer last year and the ATM machine to keep everything running. The pipelines they have are very promising and I consider them a serious play, even more so than $ICU.
Got into $AGEN yesterday @ 0.73 and am enjoying a nice little bump so far.

My penny stocks: $PXLW Pixelworks $AGEN Agenus $INO Inovio $NVTS Navitas Semiconductor $PAYS Paysign All subject to MMs of course, buy Paysign actually made profit and is probably the best bet. Pixelworks has some promising tech with which Apple and Disney are involved (Cameron's Avatar: Way of Water used it). The biotechs are very speculative, but PTN, INO have promising P3s in the work that could be home runs. AGEN has a large pipeline of P2s. PTN sold an approved drug license (Vyleesi/Bremelanotide) and has revenue.
True. Under the radar stock, high risk. The right PR ( which sadly would be a death) would trigger a sequence of events. The biggest threat to retail is the management. They might throw a curve-ball like AGEN did. Difference is, offerings have already been done. Would be somewhat hard to do another one. Diluting retail = diluting hedgies.... they will object. That is why the thesis, partner/merger/bo.

AGEN and ICU. ICU got potential on approval. AGEN heavily shorter and I me a 50 million shares shorted day in day out AGEN can sky rocket in 3 days and crash next day.

PXLW is my bet. It's been good to me so far. $2.70 right now, but has some dealings with DIS and AAPL ... Mobile video hardware and software (TLDR); lots of potential as I see. May be slightly overvalued what with the recent tech surges, but volatility may provide a good entry point and news will surge it higher. PAYS is doing good for a micro cap. It's small but profitable. Prepaid cards for plasma centers in Nevada and other rewards programs (TLDR); It's a great risk. Biopharma has me grabbing my ankles lately with P&Ds, RSs, and dilution, but my penny plays are INO, PTN, and AGEN. Bringing $AGEN and $DARE to your attention :) Got 1k of each. $AGEN started picking up (FINALLY) end of last week and it's already gaining pre-market. Also Vanguard, BlackRock and Goldman Sachs are among the investors (to name just a few). $DARE will need more time, but they recently sold license for Xaciato to Organon and will get royalties for all the US sales. Have a good trading session :)
