I dont put my whole portfolio in anything, I diversify. I know tech best as a software developer so AI on robotics are the growth bets I’m making in the long term. I just research companies that have proven themself but waiting for a growth in their sector. Some examples - Symbotic (up 80%) - NVIDIA (up 40%) - Foxconn/Hon Hai (up 40%) I also bought APLT earlier this year that went 100%. Don’t know nothing about biotech but this is something a friend recommended. Don’t buy what I bought tho. Just think of the future and what companies stand to make the most money in that future. Research them, buy and don’t sell until the fundamentals are compromised. This is the mindset of a long term investor.
Waiting on approval for APLT from the FDA. It’s looking good, especially since the drug works.
Delta and APLT earnings, Plug Power to squeeze...
Can APLT sorbitol reducing drug be expanded beyond rare diseases to mainstream, overweight, conscious patients? Sorbitol after all is a sugar and APLT is trying to reduce that sugar. Seems like APLT’s anti sorbitol pipeline could be more broadly applied than just rare diseases to GLP ones. Is it a block player or is it just a niche player?
APLT ready to flyyy https://www.biospace.com/drug-development/new-confirmatory-study-hints-at-alignment-between-applied-therapeutics-fda-for-rare-disease-drug
APLT looking strong. FDA situation is improving.
Looking at MOBX, FUBO, ATOM and APLT
APLT is my move, got in at 0.62 it's at 0.93 right now Hit big on Adap this week too and cashed most out at 101% but it's still looking like a short term play in the future Hoping CYDY hits tomorrow too I'm in at 0.26
KALA was ridiculous... it was a run up play APLT still yet to be seen. It's not quite over. Unlikely, but not quite over. Just gotta know when to take off risk :)
APLT already had its news, why buy? DFLI, GPUS, PSTV are better
Kinda sketchy on APLT - they just settled on a sec fraud lawsuit for misleading investors on clinical trial data, and deleting clinical data to look more positive than they were.
Why are people saying GPUS, 250Million volume barely moved this ticker that only has 26M float. ATM offering coming Monday. Be smart guys do you're DD. DFLI has a better chance of spiking. Also check out APLT, we might be hearing news about FDA approval on their drug. 60% of the OS is held by institutes so it has a huge support. Disclaimer: this is not financial advice GLTA
Keeping eyes on DVLT and APLT.
Anyone else notice how much shares institutes hold for APLT 👀 going back to$10
APLT. Just look at the graph lmao
Did everyone dump NUAI and DVLT? I see APLT being pumped +75% today, did we miss the party?
APLT. I ported 9k into this trash stock to gamble on a FDA decision for an NDA. LMAO
Time for some retard penny stock action. Dumping 4K into APLT LMAO🫰
Volatile Pharma penny stocks anytime. APLT or IOVA https://preview.redd.it/6kxza9oe67bf1.jpeg?width=160&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=def01a67f35b5b4bac771dd7919f858de9ead3e4
I’m in APLT LETS SEE
APLT Positive updated presented today (Sunday) at industry conference.
APLT Update coming on Sunday - company presenting at the Peripheral Nerve Society 2025 Annual Meeting, and have publicly stated that they will be presenting a “late-breaking abstract…”
APLT Update coming at conference presentation on Sunday. Check it out.
APLT giving a talk at a conference which usually bodes well
It seems they’re going to get a [Lawsuit](https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2024/12/18/2999380/0/en/APLT-INVESTOR-ALERT-Bronstein-Gewirtz-Grossman-LLC-Announces-that-Applied-Therapeutics-Inc-Investors-with-Substantial-Losses-Have-Opportunity-to-Lead-Class-Action-Lawsuit.html)
APLT has another indication for this drug with different studies. They had planned on submitting an sNDA for that indication if they received approval(which of course they did not). The 2nd indication for SORD is a larger market than the original indication and all of the studies showed stat significance whereas the Govorostat studies had one study that did not meet stat. significance. Their MC is now around 230 million. With both approvals market indication was that they were worth more than 1B. I know that receiving the warning letter was bad and the messed up data is probably the reason that the ADCOM was cancelled but for the SORD indication they have a good shot at approval if they can get their stuff together and submit it as an NDA instead of an sNDA. They had indicated that it would be ready by end of Q12025 so we will see. I don't see it going lower from here. I'm not planning on betting the farm but I am considering opening a small position and waiting out the next 3 months to see what transpires from here.
I mean they definitely do, but that doesn't mean you can't make money even off a company which ultimately fails. As long as I reach my annual profit %, anything else is a bonus to me. No sense in staying too long as losing it or going red - that's why I pulled out of APLT +60%, right in time.
I am a 62 disabled man and almost put my entire life savings into APLT today when it was $1.68 thinking it can not go any lower due to all the great points you made. I wanted to 2x my money possibly 3x when this turns around. I lost my shit when I just saw stock at $1.35 in after our trading. I would have lost 20% of my retirement money and felt sick to my stomach. If the stock drops another 10 to 20%, I think this company could go under. Hopefully I am wrong and may put $100,000 into stock tomorrow if it drops any lower because upside reward versus risk is now insane. I actually bought the stock at $ 2.12 and sold as $ 2.04 which is as still a 4 % loss but I had a bad feeling it was still going south when it didn’t bounce the day after its 76% crash. . I bought a large position in intel today at $22 thinking just one good piece of news will have that stock could easily be back at 25 in a day. Thats a 6.5 % gain in a short period. Just need to hear intel announce their new CEO soon or even better a rumor of another company looking to buy them out. I think Intel with be a $50 dollar stock by this time next year which is over a 100% plus return . Intel is way to large not to eventually bounce back. At lease they are not at the risk of bankruptcy so it may be worth getting a small position. I may also drop $100,000 into APLT if I see it start to move north tomorrow. If it gets back to 10 that’s an $865,000 gain. I only wish I understood options, puts, calls etc because that’s how the pros make their multi millions. I want to become a day trader but don’t know where to start. Good luck with you investments my friend. I am rooting for you🙏
The FDA warning letter is now published: https://www.fda.gov/inspections-compliance-enforcement-and-criminal-investigations/warning-letters/applied-therapeutics-inc-696833-12032024 So APLT messed up with their reporting obligations, big time and quite unprofessional. Data was deleted by a third party two days prior the FDA inspection was announced. They haven't been upfront with dosing errors in the trial. I understand that FDA wasn't willing to approve it. But on the bright side no further negative surprises. As it had to contain relevant findings. So maybe they can turn it around without a new trial. So new FDA submission as early as Q1 maybe feasible.

I also did mine today lol. Same price $0.05. It was $APLT. Selling covered call just to see how it's done in my brokerage. Just to experience and understanding the basics. I want to use it to hedge my portfolio in the future.
Class 2 resubmission clock is 6 months. This would be class 2, and not class 1, because this resubmission is more than just a revision to paperwork. APLT suspects the FDA denial was related to the efficiacy package.
The FDA rejection destroyed APLT but the company has $98.9m cash on hand and their drug Govorestat actually works - FDA just had issues with data presentation and quality control. European approval still in play for Q1 2025. Pipeline includes other promising candidates for diabetic cardiomyopathy and retinopathy. This isn't some penny stock scam - they're working on real treatments for rare diseases with a [76.3% drop after FDA rejection]. That's pure panic selling. I'm loading up on Jan/Feb calls. Risk/reward here is insane if they can fix their paperwork. Even without US approval short term, EU market alone justifies way higher valuation than current market cap. Worst case? They burn through cash in 2-3 years. Best case? Multi-bagger when they resubmit clean data. Just don't bet the farm. This is still a binary bet on FDA accepting their appeal. *Not investment advice, I eat crayons for breakfast
Who’s gambling on APLT bouncing back
Lol I wish - this is the stock that taught me about bio stocks and they're propensity for freefall. I had shares that I was selling CCs on. I could buy the shares for $26 and immediately sell 3 WTE ATM calls for $10/share. Felt too good to be true. Turns out it was. After my shares got wiped out I spent some time doing research into the catalyst, and likelihoods etc etc. You can see the same thing happened this month alone to SAVA, PYXS, APLT, MRNS, and countless others. If I touch bio stocks again, it will be to short them. CRVS has just initiated phase 3 trials, which could last a long time - so I'll keep my eyes out next year for an announcement on expected dates for results, and I'll buy puts.
Hmm, I was looking into Biotech stocks and looking at APLT last week seems to be exactly what you're referring too. I may regret this, but I think I'm going to give this industry a pass.
If you want to sleep well - VOO If you're ready to roll the dice - APLT Applied Therapeutics was taken out to the shed today after market. Down about 80% from 9 am. The FDA shut down their golden ticket. However, if the FDA changes course, they have the only drug on the market for their case. A massive buy opportunity on the dip or it'll go bankrupt in 6 months. Are you feeling lucky?
No it is not baked in. I invest in biotech stocks for 20 years and approval is rarely baked in. Only one time I bought a stock that dropped like a brick on the day of approval and I made money, but it is very rare. The rest always goes up, easily doubles. In the past sometimes it went up to 20 times, not anymore in the last 5 or 6 years I do have APLT that I bought in June for $4.35. I also have BBIO bought in August for $24.15. In the case of BBIO it went up to around $30 then retraced to $21 early this week. BBIO got approved Friday after market closed. Let's see how much it goes up this Monday 11/25
APLT RUM KALV Knock yourself out
Hit APLT. You got a little more than a week.
You think APLT has squeeze left?
Friday moves have me hyped. APLT calls were nice for me today as well.
Thanks, for the response. I’m still new to trading and I’ve been only doing long term investments. I work I. Pharma which is why APLT was the one that I could confidently look at.
What is your exit price with APLT? They seem like a really good group, being so small but achieving a great deal means they’re extremely intelligent and dedicated to this work if they are focusing on such a rare disease.
Anyone on APLT today? Thinking of picking up some April 19 10 dollar calls
I’m gonna use the RH scanner to find stocks mooning at open buy calls ride the huge volume and sell for 500%. I successfully did it on Friday with APLT and sold up 560% but only threw a couple bucks in so I didn’t make too much. Gonna try with a couple hundred next and let you how it goes wish me luck
ATAI, CDT, CRDL, APLT, ETAO..... so many ways to become a millionaire. Which one will pop first
I usually place around 5-6 trades a week but according to my monthly statements from Schwab these were my most volatile positions per month. Biggest mover: - Total return % for the month August: $TSHA - 135.94% ROI September: $YHGJ - 35.98% ROI October: $APLT - I ended up down 21.41% for that month November: Didn’t do much trading here, around 70% of my capital was just sitting not being traded but $CDIO was my biggest position - 20% ROI December - I honestly dont even know what happened here but it worked out pretty well. $PSTX, $BETS, and $LMFA were my top movers.
I'm in APLT at 3.06, been averaging down for a few days to get there
Surprised no one’s mentioned APLT. Up almost a dollar in a week
APLT shorts are covering. Great news from FDA and will proceed with IND filing after good FDA meeting.
Hey /u/Preaknessday - I am a bot from /r/wallstreetbets. You submitted one or more banned tickers: APLT. We don't allow discussion of low market cap (less than 500mm) tickers to prevent pump & dump spam and scammers.
Moves for tomorrow involve picking up more shares of MULN, APLT, MESA, SRNE, and GRND. Also will test my luck for BBBYQ $4.5 strike calls expiring 1/20/23

Damn I’ll take a look into that stock…I’m mostly in biotech and clean energy stocks I bought this week for huge discounts…take a look at APLT (already up 20% on this) and HASI (got in sub 30)
APLT futures 📈 big news incoming
APLT, buy it now or be left behind
Hey wsb I have been holding APLT since $20 because I made some bank of DARE and now am down 90% all time so I suppose I will be holding for a little bit longer because stocks go up or so I have heard
I got APLT for $6.35, may be a long term but I bought BBIO and AUVI after dips and it worked out well for me. Switching my strategy up for 2022. :)
APLT I didn’t own it, he god damn.
