Thoughts on Dividend stock $AVAL?

Use presidential polls in Latin America for short stocks

Out of $RITM, going full-on defensive: $UTF, $UTG, $BUI, with $ARDC & $PFFA for some extra risk/return. As far as penny stocks go, $BBDO & $AVAL have my attention, both dividend-paying Latin American financial institutions. I’ve been watching for a while so I think I’ll average in over time. Also $AVUV is a small-cap ETF, that’s also just absolutely ripping today, that also pays a little dividend. It’s not a penny stock but it sure beats holding bags of who knows what you jumped into…🤙 I wish I had bought more AVUV but I will not free-base cocaine. I won’t do it!

It will take awhile for the politics to shake out with Lula. He has been elected but does he have a majority in the Brazilian Congress? Not quite. So I would not expect any large wholesale movements that would upset your holding the stock. So far his cabinet choices seem different but not quite polar opposites of Bossalario (sp). His choice for preserving the rain forest seems laudable rather than mowing it down. He has not appointed a fire-breathing finance minister. Nor has he appointed anyone who jumps on desks yelling about "Yankee Imperialists" "Running Dog Capitalists", etc. Would I buy more Brazilian etfs now like: FLBR, EWZ, BRF, etc. ? Would monitor closely. Pricing is good, some of the dividends are great, but am a little uneasy right now. And I have a fairly strong risk component in my stock buying. The dividends are probably one-time things. If you want to buy in to these etf's derate the current dividends by at least 1/2 or more and see if this fits into your need-to-own on Brazil stocks/etfs. These etf's are still cratering. But for how long do not know. Won't guess either. Could make some serious coin, could lose your stack of coin - your decision. I own VALE, SID, & AVAL. Still looking & waiting to see if there is anything else in Brazil/South America I want in on.

I am from Colombia in south America and prefer to invest in companies that I know, I make shorts in local companies: CIB, CEL, TPL, EC, NCH, AVAL and others from USA of course TSN, T, VZ, EVRG, JPM and others that I have st this point. I make sure that if that companies going down it will not a problem for my to hold them, cause they are finances or primary service companies and all has dividend.

I'd buy something else but, in your case, you could check AVAL and AGNC.
