I’m a small retail investor – about 20 shares – in a clinical biotech (BDTX) and just went through a proxy vote. The stock performance has been pretty rough, but I’m still holding because I think there’s long-term potential. That said, I’m not adding to the position right now, and I’m not fully confident in how leadership has executed so far. For the proxy: · I voted FOR directors (I’m not trying to replace leadership) · FOR the auditor · AGAINST executive compensation (this is where I’m conflicted) · FOR annual say-on-pay votes My reasoning was basically – “I’m willing to stay invested, but I don’t think compensation should be fully supported given current results.” I’m curious how others think about this balance: · Do you typically support compensation if you’re still holding the stock? · Or do you use the vote to signal dissatisfaction even if you are not selling? · In biotech specifically, do you give more leeway due to long timelines? Not looking for buy/sell advice – just trying to understand how other investors think about proxy voting in situations like this.

BDTX a possible penny stock value bounce? Just rebounded from support, very high institunal ownership, large amount of cash etc with good results and further working in H1 & H2 Currently $2.80 big bounces to $5 with target price of $10
They shorted at 0.8$ to recover cash on bonds, likely through market makers and once their shares are transferable, they’ll just close out the new short with them. That having been said the previous short amount remains and they do need to buy back in cash. That gap would have needed to be filled as the amount cash wise was really low to get there. Their SGA is lowering quarter after quarter and their gross profit actually rising, so that will cross over at some point. They diluted shareholders meaningfully only once. The business is generating $40m a year in gross profit before SGA expenses, these will go down and margins will likely expand. Yes the revenue went down, but it was worth 20x what it is today when it was up. Size wise, it’s actually just 1.3% post dilution, but that sounds worse)) Previous investments - RUN, MP, SBET, BDTX

Got in last week when financials came out. Black Diamond Therapeutic (NASDAQ:BDTX) reported quarterly earnings of $0.98 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $0.02 by 4800 percent. This is a 380 percent increase over losses of $(0.35) per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $70.00 million which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $17.50 million by 300.00 percent.
MVST will tank don’t think they will hit earnings, wolf is going to $6 then tanking, I made 15% on wolf and put it in $BDTX I think AMPX and CTM will be the next to have a quick run

Only time will tell. They flipped their EPS from negative to positive, so I expected some kind of jump. Of course, BDTX was estimated to have an EPS of .02 yesterday and it was actually .98. I've never seen that kind of beat, but it's only up 9%.

Servier deal was 4 weeks ago. Anything before that was a cash carnage. Especially if you look from IPO. 4 weeks ago is when the tide changed fully for BDTX.

Anyone watching biotech stocks like $BDTX with AACR this weekend? I’m looking at this one specifically because they speak at the conference this weekend and have earnings just a week after. If so what are your biotech picks short-midterm ?
I’m at about $2.1 per share average. Other stocks you mention behaved similarly, which would also apply to BDTX’s current price if you didn’t account for the Servier deal, which, should, even under current dynamics value the company at ~4 per share. Very long this stock.

BDTX was worth $70mln with $100mln in cash. They sign a $710mln deal and receive $70mln 1st payment, 140mln in cash, still worth $70mln. It’s a steal at these levels. Highly advise everyone to look this up.

I find BDTX to be a hidden gem - though I can't post here on the forum. It has the same valuation as the cash, high short interest and is at the 52w low. It went up today 5%, despite market sell-off

Lost a lot on $BDTX and $OMEX with 7-8% premium. Now I just own the stocks with $0 covered calls on 10% of the price I bought them on. Leart a lot though

I went pretty deep in some small biotechs in early March - May and all of them are down from 20 to 70% since I bought them. GTHX, ACAD, BDTX. Also SAVA with an average of $48 but it has good chances for growth at least.
