For "transactional medium" it can't have a zero value, I agree that part. Now the question is what the fair value for BTC to agree as "transactional medium". I would say 1BTC = $1, but you might say 1BTC= $10K. Thats is the challenge. Now when I see the value of BTC is changing 5-10% overnight, I wouldn't want to spend it and hold it. That's where it fails as a transactional medium. It shouldn't be this volatile and especially this % change overnight. I am scared of holding a fiat currency overnight! I am very positive in long term we will have some crypto currencies used as purely transactional medium, which people won't be anxious about holding it overnight. For now all cryptos are highly speculative. I meant the total market cap of all crypto. When BTC was at ATH, TMC was almost 3 trillion. I think it is quite possible to have x3 from here and Bitcoin up to 140k.

i think it is great that Intel is finally doing chips. hopefully AMD and TMC will follow (yes, they will). Intel will do business with other companies too and there will be enough competition in the years to come
It looks objective to me. Based on TMC/TVL it’s the most overvalued coin in the top 10.
April 2020 wasn’t a peak for the original covid variant, but it was the bottom for stocks. The sell off is happening now and has been for over a month. Just look at low and mid cap stocks, examples are OWLT, TMC, CEI, SDC, I could name a hundred more, that’s where the beating has been happening, and has lasted over a month now. The sell off is almost over for those, and is reflected in the price of Bitcoin as well as its sell off came at the end of everything else, buying in 2mo is shitty timing. The whole thing mimics March 2020 almost perfect. See ya back at 60k in 2mo.

I have not checked my portfolio for a week. Really stopped caring. I just accidentally saw that the TMC is $2.4T and that's all I need.
Market is dominated by very few coins compared to thousands of coins that are listed on exchanges. So, their effect on the TMC is minimal. Even though, there are no of coins being created everyday, their share in TMC is small and result in very small changes.

I would not be bullish enough until we break the $2T ATH TMC :) How long would it take? I have no idea!
This is how I always looked at the crypto market cap. If it becomes used as trading currency buy just a few countries, that will add up hugely to the TMC as it'd be replacing what would be normally traded as "forex".

There's one game I know of that fits the bill. The project name is Niftygotchi ($TME), it's based on the 90's popular game of Tamagotchi pets. A lot of folks are more interested in the value of an asset than the total market cap as they see this as a means to effectively grow their bags. this is where Crypto education comes into place as this will enable lots of individuals to pay more attention to TMC as the smaller the TMC is the more room for growth. this is the same reason why I love riding small caps like [XFAI](https://xfai.com) to gain more benefits as they continue to build and scale their technologies across different platforms.
I mean, stock market is at an all-time high. PE is through the roof and GDP/TMC is super low. Did you buy in to a bunch of speculative growth stocks like weed and tech at ATHs? Most people who held stocks since last year had basically the best year for stocks of their lives, this recent correction notwithstanding.
