$BIAF Patent issuance for cancer treatment has appeared in public records — not officially announced by the company yet. Low float. Trading under $1 with growing volume. If the PR confirms tomorrow, this could become the biotech runner of the week. Position accordingly.

halts are just murdering stocks left and right, BIAF dropped to below a dollar from 1.48 in 30 mins.. dangerous market today.. RSLS down almost half in an hour... lets hope one of these flies AH and overnight
These halts are annoying man, got stopped out of both BIAF and RSLS before they ripped... I need to keep my stop loss at -10% and accept the potential loss instead of raising it. I keep getting caught on flush candles before the rebound. Missed out on so much profits from doing that.

Let me preface this by saying im am not rich yet. On my way. But this is what works for me. I built an excel spreadsheet based on my account size, how much I'm willing to risk per trade, and then two inputs: entry price, and stop loss price. Both of those should be known before you enter a trade. So if I'm willing to risk 2% of my account per trade, the spread of those two entries tells me how many shares to buy. I have another box that calculates a 5% gain, and so I set a sell price for 50% of my filled shares at that price. I then set a sell price for 50% of the remaining shares to sell at 12%. If the stock goes up past that 12% mark, I move my SL to entry and am ok with the gains I made that day. If the stock goes up past 25% with my runners, I move my SL to the 5% gain amount and I walk away and let it run, checking in maybe every hour to see if there has been movement. If it gets really high, I'll look at the chart for selling pressure and exit then. To use a real world example from Tuesday 1/24, I traded BIAF. I bought somewhere in the neighborhood of 1000 shares at 1.97. So when it crossed 2.07, 500 shares sold netting me fifty bucks in profit. When it hit 2.21, I sold another 250, netting me another $60 for a total of $110. I then had 250 shares left and I moved my SL up to entry to make sure i didn't lose those gains, and I walked away for a bit. I came back and it had hit 3.99 but sellers had stepped up and it was muddling around 3.40. I was happy with that and sold the remaining 250 shares at 3.40 for 357 dollars. Total profit on the trade was $467. If it had crashed and hit my SL instead of gaining, it would've capped my loss at only 2% of my total account which is my acceptable loss amount.
