Long time holder and believer. Please do research into the recent meeting on November 1 with FDA. News seems to be few and far between, but if granted accelerated approval it could enhance a lot of lives. CLNN
So, Tofersen is already an approved drug, but it is only effective for patients with the SOD1 mutation (2% of ALS patients). Three other approved drugs, however, do not significantly reduce mortality. When it comes to ALS, we're really just looking for drugs that help at all because right now, there really isn't anything. CLNN is promising because it has lots of data showing it reduces mortality, which is great. From a stock perspective, it has the potential to be the most effective drug on the market for a disease that doesn't really have effective treatments. It also has the potential to be approved at an extremely accelerated rate when compared to drugs for other conditions. Essentially, if approved, everyone with ALS would likely start taking CNM-AU8. It also looks promising to treat multiple conditions. I'm honestly shocked it's not getting more play on Reddit, considering its potential. There has been much more funding for ALS in recent years, though not enough. I'm not super hopeful the new administration will continue to fund research at such a high level, but you never know. You had me at ALS. Years ago, I transported a family member to the Royal Vic in Montreal every month to be part of Dr. Angela Genge's program (tofersen site). So tell me, why are the analysts showing so much upside (up to \~2,000%) on CLNN if BIIB is the stronger candidate? Do you have the link to the recent CLNN presentation in your remarks? I didn’t see a huge upside in the pharmaceuticals unless I missed something however CLNE just opened up another train which will increase capacity and cut down on expense of a third party moving product. If they can't get help to fund building a whole new port at the north shore, this might be tragic.
