I'm not refuting points that have nothing to do with what you are saying. I'm refuting why it won't be flat with IMH if earnings rise and employment is stable. You keep zipping from tangent to tangent and I keep refuting each one. You're not providing ANY data or evidence at all just saying "things are expensive". And I'm sorry that's not a sound argument.
I disagree, healthy economy means IMH has room to really keep working it's magic. Record buybacks, dividends, 401k, retail brokerage money. Right now passive ETFs actually eclipses active money manager activity. Market is going to keep going up as long as earnings stabilize. History ALWAYS shows that markets bottom when earnings do. Actually market tends to bottom about 6 months before earnings. So that would explain 3500-3600 bottom in June.
In the extremely short-term yes. It says institutions typically stay fully invested and move slowly. They rotate around but basically do not do crazy things like go in and out all cash the way retail does. IMH says short-term shocks and panic $1 of selling leads to $5 of stock market loss actually. It creates exaggerated swings, this goes upwards too, $1 of buying leads to $5 up of market value.
Did IMH talk about effects of higher unemployment rate on market prices at all? I'm not under the impression that it did. Irrespective, we don't have to look at a controversial theory for this. It’s not a product. I’m just saying you can emulate most of what blockchain does with digital signatures. The concept is simple, with a digital signature you can sign a piece of data. No one can forge your signature. So if you and someone else were to have a text file saying, “I Bob with public key XYZ transfers $500 dollars to Alice with public key ABC.” Then you both sign it and each keep a copy. In the future if you want to determine if Bob sent Alice $500, you just need to produce the text and the signatures show IMH both of them signed it.

I also believe the upside is huge so I divide my allocation between particular companies and some ETFs and I believe you're completely right, it's a long term hold but IMH it'll be worth the wait.

I’ve posted several times about $IMH over the last month and it finally showed some life today, 17% gain and volume was ~4x the 10 day avg and >2x the 90 day avg. I think it’s the start of an uptrend that could approach $3 in the near term. Expecting a typical dip at open tomorrow and I may add more myself depending how it looks.

I’ve posted a couple times about IMH and recommend giving it a look. The majority shareholder has bought $1M in shares between September ($750k) and last week ($250k), and the stock has been accumulating at $2 for two weeks. Chart looks good to enter. Fought off financial ruin amid COVID and seem to be recovering. Can be a good swing trade over the coming months. And I second the other comment mentioning RYCEY. I’d say that one is safer but will may take longer to develop. I’m in both.

Well, investing and trading(speculating) are 2 different things. I normally invest (hold stocks for years) but been day trading lately. So yes, I put money in the stock market to make it grow, but there is different ways to do it. The issue IMH is that at the beginning stock market was a very noble idea, but now, there is to much degenaration around it. I would have never bought GME stock if it was not bc of this goal to crush shorts and make the case that there is much shadiness around markets nowadays. So in this case I don't really have the goal to make money by buying some $GME shares. hope you understand what I mean! ;)
