Solid picks overall. Let me add data context: **The value plays that check out:** | Ticker | Forward P/E | Op Margin | YoY Growth | Verdict | |:-------|------------:|----------:|-----------:|:--------| | ADBE | 13x | 35%+ | ~10% | Undervalued if AI narrative shifts | | PYPL | 9x | 16% | +7% | Hated but fundamentals intact | | MDLZ | 10x | 15% | +4% | Commodity cost thesis is valid | **Concerns:** **KEP (Korean Nuclear):** PE of 6 sounds cheap but Korean utilities have regulatory risk + currency risk. Also, data quality on Korean stocks is spotty. **TDD (Trade Desk):** This was a 60x P/E stock that crashed. "Significantly undervalued" is a stretch - it's still 30x+ forward. Great business, but priced for perfection. **Devon/Oxy:** Oil at $70-75 is breakeven for many shale plays. If oil drops to $60 (China slowdown scenario), these get crushed. Only buy if you have a view on oil prices. **Your tech warning is spot on:** I pulled the Mag7 vs historical comparisons: | Period | NASDAQ P/E | Current | |:-------|:-----------|:--------| | 2000 Peak | 100x+ | - | | 2022 Trough | 20x | - | | Today | 35x | Elevated but not 2000 | We're not at 2000 levels, but AI stocks are pricing in 5+ years of growth. NVDA at 63x needs flawless execution. Your value approach makes sense in this environment. I'd add: track 8-quarter margin trends, not just P/E. A cheap stock with compressing margins is a value trap.

The fundamentals for KEP look great. I saw news about a Saudi power deal. Why does the stock seem so undervalued? I must be missing something...

Btw KEP is a fanatstic stock. Under the radar and undervalued.

Tempting P/B 0.25. Not sure about timing though, you know what they say about being right too early... I got the right moment with KEP but I am still waiting for VALE and PFE.

You really need to go back to the drawing board and learn way more about the basics before you contemplate actually making a trade. In the Robinhood screenshot, you are selling (to open, that is selling short) a put, with a limit price of 0.00. When you sell something short, the most money you can make (max profit) is the credit you receive to sell it short. If you sell something for zero dollars, you are collecting zero dollars and thus zero dollars is your max profit. Not that such an order would fill. You can't sell an option for zero dollars. In the TastyTrade screenshot, you are *buying* (to open, that is, buying long) a put, at a limit price of 0.65. That is the exact opposite position. When you buy a put, the max profit occurs if the stock goes to zero. In that case, the put would be worth 5.00. 5.00 - 0.65 = 4.35 x 100 = $435 max profit. Not that you can make that trade either, because there's a message right there on the screen saying you can only close positions on KEP, not open them.

Thank you very much. So what's throwing me off is in Robinhood, is shows $0 max profit when I choose Sell Put for in this test, KEP. Please see Robinhood image below. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uhoxCAh8dDBuuNkRzPl3QTf7a6ei1yXZ/view?usp=drivesdk When I do the same thing in TastyTrade, it shows max profit $435, which makes sense because based on KEP's current graph, their stocks are dropping and I can see it'll hit $5. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Cgg0N6-hVmFAC1ttSp4hvPteli0n9mc9/view?usp=drivesdk

Thanks. The ticker's KEP. No worries. Their stock was at $7.07. Since they have been on a decline, I wanted to do a strike at the next lower price which is $5. I understand their graph can go up; however, at the current trend, it's going down. For practice, I'm trying to play some stock options that are below $15 and above $7 so that if they're going down, I have a better chance at winning. For example, some stocks like LCID are so low that based on their history, they can't go lower and they appear to be lingering in at this low price, where they go up and down a few cents.

Like the natural gas and oil look to inelastic goods for inflation volatility and interest rate uncertainty. Also utility companies can be a great fall back. KEP, MRO, TGA (good buy in now down 15% in last month but good play long term) PTR

Unfortunately outside of the sites I linked and the bi-monthly FTD data, I don't believe that data exists in a standardized format. This is why we have so many conflicting short interest figures floating around and further underscores the need for greater transparency regarding short selling activity by hedge funds. Check out this article on how the HFs are attempting to further obfuscate their positions: [https://www.wsj.com/articles/gamestop-resurgence-reinforces-new-reality-for-hedge-funds-11614335400?fbclid=IwAR3174FSt7rCsN26eyLEEdoPUaI\_\_qZ6RD-MMY-C3AFw3KEP5r4smyldyCc](https://www.wsj.com/articles/gamestop-resurgence-reinforces-new-reality-for-hedge-funds-11614335400?fbclid=IwAR3174FSt7rCsN26eyLEEdoPUaI__qZ6RD-MMY-C3AFw3KEP5r4smyldyCc)

The Canadian companies like Denison or Uranium Energy usually are pretty safe investments. You're not going to make or lose a lot of money because they usually don't move much. Uranium Energy has been slowly climbing. I bought in at the $1 range and it's up to $2.60 now. Calls are pretty cheap but it's a matter of *how much* it moves. The breakeven on an OTM August Uranium Energy $3 call is $3.73. I'm not sure that will happen. An ITM call is only $3.05 breakeven which seems a safer bet. The only real big mover for nuclear is $BWXT. $KEP, $HTHIY, $BBU (owner of westinghouse Nuclear) can be movers at times but for the most part the industry is doing poorly, and it's only a part of their actual business so they usually stay pretty stable. The big mover this year is basically gonna be Southern Company. Either Vogtle will be finished on-time and its stock will go up a bit, or it will collapse massively when they delay it again and the project is cancelled and the whole company is $28 Billion in the hole and tanks completely. So like... if you're pretty confident Vogtle will fail, buying puts on $SO might not be a terrible idea.

Agreed. I was planning on covering this in a video very soon. KT and KEP are both insane values. The Korean stock market is at all time highs and these two got left behind for no good reason.
