Once again, KOD. Posted last Friday about KOD - up 24% Posted yesterday about KOD - up 7% Now posting today about KOD - up 11% (thus far today). I've been following KOD for *years*, and believe it's about to make a huge move on the upside. KOD traded as high as $125 a year and a half ago, and currently trades at $9.25. So there is a lot of potential left on this stock.
Last Friday I posted about KOD; up 24% on Friday and nearly 7% today. So to reiterate: KOD.
Posted here about KOD last Friday, as it was up 24% and it's a stock I have been following for a couple of years. KOD is up another 7% today on heavy volume, and I sense a near-term big move is approaching on this stock. Currently trading at $8.40. (From as high as $125 in late 2021...)
Far be it for me to mention a stock, but KOD is a stock that I have been following for two years now so I know it well. The company has three or four Phase 3 results soon to be released, and KOD is beginning to ramp up. Traded as high as $120 in late 2021, and is currently trading at a much-reduced $7.50. (Up from $4.50 a month ago.) The company currently has a $390M market cap, $430M in cash, and no debt. I'm currently in the stock (@ $5.50) and the JUN and JUL $10c. If good news is in-coming, KOD has the potential to really bounce up. (I view KOD as similar to CLDX back in 2020.)
If you like trading biotechs, keep KOD on your watch list as it's starting to move. Cash on hand is around double the current market cap, and the company has three late stage trial results soon out. The five year chart shows the potential on KOD.
Take a look at the chart on KOD. It tanked in early 2021 from over $70 to its nearly all-time low of $4.50 today. That said, the company has cash double it's current market cap $260M, and has three or four late stage drug trial results soon coming out. If any one of these reports is positive KOD could may quickly trade much higher.

I generally don't like biotechs, but KOD currently trades at $7, has a $370M market cap, $530M in cash, and will soon be reporting the results of a pivotal study. KOD traded from the $40s to as high as $150 in 2020/2021, so there's big bounce potential on a small position or options bet. I'm currently long the JUN $12.50c.

Bought out, and with basically no premium over today's close. (And light year's away from where POSH traded a year ag0.) I think we're going to be seeing a lot of deals like this over the next few months. (That said, small biotech LOGC sold today at a 700% premium over Friday's close, as LOGC's market cap was a fraction of cash on hand. GRAY, SMMT and KOD are similar bios with market caps well below cash on hand, and I expect GRAY will be the first to be sold.)
I have been doing pretty well buying health technology stocks at their 52 week low and more than 90 percent off their one year high provided they have viable treatments in the queue. Most of these stocks had one lead candidate in the queue that had disappointing trial results, hence the 90 percent plunge, but still have two to three other candidates in the queue. Examples? AGLE. In .456, out .86. AYLA. In 1.25, out 2.15. BCLI. In 3.23, out 4.23. KOD. In 5.91, out 10.01. EFTR. In .90, out 1.81. and several others. These were all quick turnarounds, anywhere from 2-3 days to 2-3 months. Now, I do have some "losers" I am holding onto, but I am willing to wait 2-3 years on them. I did have two non health technology stocks that gave me a good returns. SMR. In 9.99, out 15.75 (held 3 months). TBLT. In 1.50, out 3.05 (held 7 days). I have one other criteria I forgot to mention. I try to keep it to U.S. stocks only, though I did purchase one Israeli stock, but never any China based stocks. My background? A retired civil/construction engineer that needed a hobby, so this is it.

Small caps are outperforming today, which is usually a sign of market bottom, at least for short term! A few of beaten down names are RMO, AFRM, BBBY, KOD, CENX, BYND. If true and this rally holds up, then there would be sharp rallies following today's rally.

I bought KOD when it was 8 and I realized that they had more outstanding cash than market cap. I figure they could sell themselves or another company would buy them. Or one of their phase 3 trials will succeed or phase 1 proceed to next phase. It proceeded to crash down to 5 — I should have doubled down. Now at 9 due to one of the major shareholders accumulating, possibly to get the company sold.
