Literally there's been maybe 2 tickers that have ever been banned and none were banned for any other reason than the behavior exhibited by those involved. BBBY was banned because the amount of posts, threats, etc that were coming into this subreddit could block out the sun if you tried. NEGG was "banned" because people were going into chat rooms on reddit to brigade the subreddit and harass me after I'd remove someone's 5th post in 1 day. There's still a few chat rooms going on about it now where they post links to this subreddit just to point and laugh/feel superior for their a NEGG investor or to otherwise place blame for their own misfortune. There hasn't been any other notable bans since I've been here. Those are the main 2 and I still feel as though the actions were justified. And after these 2 tickers were banned, you'll never guess what happened! The stock prices fell dramatically to where neither are in compliance and are/will be delisted!

I’m with you brother. I liked FSR. A couple weeks ago but cut my losses because I wanted to put that money to use elsewhere in the market. I remember the whole NEGG outbreak that took over this sub a month ago and the moderator had to get involved - this sub devolved into a pure combination pump and dump and fake accounts. I can’t lie, though, as there’s always some Good Samaritan that actually posts DD on possible squeezes, which is why I haven’t left yet

I don't pursue squeezes or do options, but I use an Ichimoku strategy. I use that to help identify something trending on the 1hr and 1day candles. I look at charts that were relatively stable (aka boring), or on a slow down trend. If it's the 1hr candle, I generally like to stay in for a couple days to 2wk at most. For the 1day candle, up to a few months. Target return is 20% in 2 weeks, but it's not a hard-and-fast rule. I have pulled out at 5-70% up. Bag held NEGG to -70% (long before it was being mentioned in a squeeze) I may break my strategy if the trend remains strong (GRPN for instance, $5.69 entry, up 126%) or I see a gap waiting to be filled (OPI for instance, gap in the $10-11 range).
