Anyone thinking OPENW will run again? Anyone got any news on them?
It’s all tied up $OPENW $NFLX $TSLA $RIG need one of these donkeys to do something before Jan
can someone do me a huge favor and post the e*trade # to call for warrant redemption? Last time they gave it to me but I can't for the life of me find it ATM. BTW, last day on CHPT-WT and OPENW is this week too.
I recently got a call for redemption of Opendoor / OPENW warrants. On the form, I can choose if I want to participate in the offer, as well as the number to "redeem". Is redeem the same as exercise? Do I want to redeem all of my warrants?
Warrants trade with a different ticker, OPENW
It is a 5 year option call with a strike price of $11.50. But it trades under its own unique ticker (OPENW).
Rocking and Rolling. I grabbed 30k warrants last week when they touched $4. Analyst consensus is $35 on OPEN, which implies a price point of $22-24 on OPENW. This will be a 4-5 bagger over the next 6-12 months. I'm in for the long haul.
What is your price target on OPENW? I bought in last week when it dipped down to $4 and see huge upside potential as this current capital rotation winds down and money returns to the growth space.
I’m very bullish on OPEN. Right now OPENW has 4-5x potential over the next 6-12 months as its trading under $5. Opendoor is pumping out new markets at a fast pace and should continue to grow top line revenue at great growth rates. IMO this was Chamath’s gold star pick.
The premium for his warrants is, at the moment, today, looking pretty justifiable to me: Today's prices: IPOA/SPCE: $17.27 (so if SPCEW warrants existed, they should be $5.77 if they were 1:1) IPOBW/OPENW: $4.67 IPOCW/CLOVW: $1.95 IPOEWS/(SoFi): $5.28 IPODWS: $1.70 IPOFWS:$1.65 The numbers seem pretty clear to me. Odds are the pre DA are undervalued, I don't see how you can argue otherwise. I've personally made a lot (100+%) on OPEN/OPENW and have a 1/4 of my warrants left, at break even right now on those. I can't remember if I had any before the rumor, based on my high cost basis I don't think so. I bought some IPOE/IPOF units the first week, and have added warrants since I also made 100+% on the small amount of IPOE I had. I'm overweight on warrants, still holding 3/4 of them comfortably in the black @$3.06 (after averaging up a lot on rumor). .. I sold my 1/4 in the $7 and $9 range. I am in the red on my IPOFWS (15%+), but only because I was plowing profits taken into it. If it is equinox, I'm not going to add more like I did for If my only experience was buying IPOFWS@$3 or IPOFWS @$9, maybe I'd be too biased to see what the numbers at the top of my post are saying. But even with trying to set aside bias from my great outcomes, I don't get your logic.
I only have OPENW, no OPEN. I'll have to look, but the one that I had that was cashless (I think it was shift auto sales) didn't allow for cash conversion. So to me, the fishy thing is that they said you could always do cash. That doesn't make sense. My understanding is the whole reason for them to have a cashless option is to avoid dilution. (And because they don't need the capital) Maybe if you put the direct quote you got back it would make more sense.
Yes, looks like you are correct. I'm not sure what to think now. The revised language looks like it matches what's in his latest SPACs. It has a section on how the warrant can be redeemed if the stock price is over $10 (which includes that table), and a section on how the warrant can be redeemed if the stock price is over $18. However, the concerning thing is that the way I read it, if the stock price is over $18, technically both sections apply, so Opendoor could choose either redemption. Right now, OPENW are trading for 21.50, with an intrinsic value of 23.09 if they were exercisable today. However, under the cashless > $10 section, you would only get .361 of a share, which would only be worth $12.49. I have 200K in OPENW, so I'm not willing to risk that, but I really want to exercise them to avoid short term capital gains. I just shot off an email to investor relations. We'll see what they say.
