Trademates calls ROLR SPECULATIVE but with a decent risk/reward setup - analysts are 6 out of 7 bullish with a P/E of 18.4 in a cash-burning sector. The catalyst is the site launch today, tying this to the prediction market hype cycle (think Polymarket IPO vibes). Action plan: if you're gambling, a tiny position at $5.28 is fine, but don't confuse this with a value play. I'd wait for a pullback to $4.80 before adding. The 15% net margin is actually solid for a startup, but one bad earnings miss and this drops 30% overnight.

Their drug improves on an old one (galantamine) and reduces the side-effects from 50% to 3%. Their sales are just starting to ramp up (20-60% QoQ growth).

You have to have a decent thesis abozt the company you invest in and you also have to follow them, at least on a quarterly basis. For example my biggest holding right now is SEGG. Their fundamentals are not great (even though they had 1400% revenue growth due to a recent acquisition), BUT they are just jumping into prediction markets, which is an extremely fast-growing market with not much players yet. My third biggest holding, ROLR is also just jumping into this space, though they are makimg a slow and steady approach imstead. On the other hand my second biggest holding is ACOG, which is an Alzheimers company. They are started with a decades old, working drug (galantamine) and they managed to modify it so it doesn't have that much side-effects (only 3% of people having them vs 50%[!!!!] with the old formula). They are already on the market with it for a year now and it is just starting to ramp up, since at first doctors were afraid to give it more than 1-2 of their patients. So, what I am saying is, you have to have a thesis where do you want to see the given company and when. You also have to be able to read their financials and see if they are bullshitting (for example it is possible that on paper their assets grew a lot YoY/QoQ but in fact they just added a random positive number to goodwill and intangible assets etc.) and then you also have to monitor the companies you invested in, at least on a quarterly basis. And the most important bit: if it becames obvious that your thesis was wrong, then never be afraid to sell. You can get back from an 50% loss with a 2x, from a 80% loss with a 5x, from a 90% loss with a 10x but you can't get back from a 100% loss.
What the fuck is a ROLR, and why is it in my port? I genuinely don't remember ever hearing about it, nevermind buying it.

SEGG is a dilution scam that is only hopping into prediction markets to mask its failure to meet Nasdaq listing requirements. The real Kalshi-equivalent to scalable, regulated US prediction markets is ROLR High Roller Technologies.

I prefer ROLR and their partnerships tbh They recently went into an agreement with Crypto.com, amongst others, and are cooking up something good for the past couple months. Looking forward to the next quarters.
10000% agree BYND has a float problem and ROLR is way way way better off in that aspect. The free float of BYND is 447.56 MILLION shares. Even if 30% is shorted that’s 312 MILLION tradable shares. I’m looking at Ortex right now and ROLR has 4m tradable shares and 30% short interest is locking it up. CTB also looks insane. DTC is unfortunately low but this is best setup I’ve seen on this sub so far.
I understand your perspective, but insiders won’t be letting go of their shares any time soon and no institutions are holding, so focusing on SI % of O is pretty much useless in this context. Even with BYND, SI % of O and SI % of F are virtually the same… Also, multiple sources show the float for ROLR at \~200k due to how the current float is distributed (IBKR and Momo Screener), which means 700%+ short interest. GME was at 140% before it started squeezing. Hi! I agree with you in most points, though I almost have as much money in SEGG as in ROLR. Yes, ROLR seems much more prepared but SEGG also have a big partner in Polymarket and they have a really well marketable domain name (sportsdotcom) for their prediction market platform. In my opinion both can succeed. Sure, SEGG is a much more risky bet since they basically just jumped into this and don't have much cash on hand either but it shows in their valuation. Higher risk, higher possible reward. Still, as I said I am in both companies and while both are extremely risky ROLR is definitely the safer bet.

You're really into the speculation with ROLR. Just keep in mind, short squeezes like GME or SMX are rare and really risky. Watch the short interest and volume since they're good indicators of a possible squeeze. Be ready for big swings and have a clear exit plan.
