There are plenty of products on the market that can help preserve wealth. There are products with buffers or barriers, ladders etc. You can go Long/Short. There’s Market Neutral. Liquid Alternatives managed futures. . All weather. Some examples are SFLR CLSE BDMIX IALT ALLW CPIEX DBMF VMNFX IALT is my current new fund for this macro economic environment. Steadily grinding out results as the equities have stagnated these past few months. You can construct a portfolio with a much lower drawdown but might not gain as much as the SP500 on a bull run. You might want to throw in a bit of gold to hedge against the $ debasement.
Hey glad to see you jumping in. You have a lot going on in the portfolio. Since you said your new to investing I'm going to assume the portfolio is less than 100k. In that case I think you might be a little all over the place. You have basically taken and etf for every slice of the market. You could do the same with a total market fund like VTI and just have a single product instead of a sample of everything. With that many funds I'd be concerned with the fees your paying which will negatively impact returns. You have a couple etfs in there that have fees approaching 1% which is pretty high. You have one SFLR that is a large cap equity with options to try and hedge your downside. I think you could swap that as part of a move to the total market fund and then adding in a investment grade bond fund for maybe 5% of your portfolio if your concerned about downside. The best thing I can recommend is think about your goals and then build something that is maybe 5 etfs total where each of them has a specific purpose towards reaching your goal. Build around a total market or S&P500 as the core then have a reason to own some of the other stuff. If you are looking for extra return then add a little bit of small and mid cap exposure. If you want downside protection add in investment grade bonds. Focus on controlling your fees as that's about the only thing we can control in investing. Good luck

Take a look at ab ETF like $SFLR. It hedges downside risk with long term puts, and pays for the puts by selling short term OTM call options. I persobally HD SPY and hedge with long date OTM puts. Cut my losses on half last year.
