Trust me bros, CPi data will come in cool, rate hike odd FUD will continue throughout today spreading doubt, retail has been feared to buy the lows due to ongoing FUD and PPI scare, Weekend sell off will continue despite relief rally, then Mango will declare War is ending soon and the iran has been defeated early next week shortly after more FUD will continue across the media, then the FED will HOLD and ATH's will be hit, retail as always will be FOMOing at the top, Iran war will continue to cool as mid terms near, however volatility will be present late October, Trump will win Mid terms and Markets will SOAR! I think SB and ACG are the big opportunities for Nike, especially the latter. They do also have some truly brilliant running products still. AeroSwift is maybe the best running top on the market right now, but for 80 quid it’s too expensive. People willing to spend that money will spend more and go to Satisfy or SOAR because of the fashion side. Vomero Premiums are the best recovery shoes and the multi-trainer running market is growing for sure. But remains true that other brands are preferred by people that do their research, even if you exclude the more specialist brands (hoka, brooks, saucony, increasingly dynafish, etc) - Puma and NB do much better entry level shoes than the Pegasus, usually for cheaper. ASICS and Adidas are miles ahead in mid tier (and asics have onitsuka tigers and adidas have originals shoes on the fashion side to compete with dunks/AF1/blazers). Alphaflys might be ahead on the super trainer front but the market isn’t that big and they’re too expensive (and not durable enough) for the vast majority of people. I guess Jordans are the big question. Do people (esp outside the US) still care enough for the amount of investment it gets? My instinct is no. Basically my point is - I don’t have a clue but I think pricing is probably how Nike come back. Let the premium brands have that end of the market.

SOAR still feels like one of those setups worth keeping an eye on. Not gonna pretend its risk free. Timing and whether the main path actually closes are still the open questions, and thin volume can make any delay feel worse than it is. That said the work already done and the clear priority shift leave it in a solid spot. Sitting where it is the downside looks pretty contained while the upside if things move forward looks meaningful. Honestly its worth the shot. Theres a lot worse bets out there when you look at the upside versus the downside from these levels.
Netflix still thinks they're a growth company and they're not. They're making 45 billion profit a year. They should be moving to the ATT/Verizon path, respected utility/service industry that pays a GOOD dividend. They could easily pay $4 a share, or 10 billion of that profit and still have a lot left over. Their stock would SOAR if they did that.
