Oh I think people are gonna be going in hard on SPXC that day and I'm just hoping to catch the wave through some typos, I guess that's my thesis.
I'm also buying SPXC as another typo play, it'll be the biggest SPACE (heating and cooling) IPO ever!

SPXC is a $216 stock. I have no idea where SpaceX is going to be trading at when it starts trading but it would be EPIC if it was around the same price....I could actually see this happening that people bid this up instead...and they might make money on it.

It’s been a running joke for a week now! People will confuse SPCE(Virgin Galatic) with SPXC(Space X) on IPO day and purchase the wrong stock, causing SPCE to go up. If I were you I’d buy some puts instead. IMO it’s a too big of a risk at this moment to hop on the bandwagon.

With that amount if cash why options? Why not ETF SPXC or something? Because you might be right but if your timing is wrong you'll exit that position as soon as it hits -30,%
It's a no brainer. I'm in for $30k at $5c 7/17 . I'm wondering if SPXC won't actually be the one that pops though. I know it's not space but I think it's more likely to show up when searching. I'm in for $5k $220c 7/17 there as well

I have a small position in AZZ. DSGX / MANH should benefit more if / when money rotates out of chips and back into software / IGV. Likely will need some patience. SPXC earnings were good and IIRC they might have even raised their full year guide. I'd look into Belden (BDC). I am red on the name but intend holding through their next earnings before taking any action.
Picks and shovels and niche companies are all I look at honestly lol. You went into more detail about BRC than I did btw so it's nice to see new info about it. I'm currently down on my newest positions like PPG, TTEK, and ALSN but seeing some life in DSGX and MANH which is nice. Been eyeing SPXC, AZZ, and VLTO. Need someonet first but not willing to sell what I got currently lol.
Closed SPXC and most of my SNDK just before the bell. Waiting to see about MTX otherwise my RBLX puts are the only thing printing. I need to go back to an earlier version of my algo, LOL.
Also have SPXC calls and FSLR puts. Call me crazy but I also have AAPL puts open, not that they’re known for huge moves, those are dated longer.

I think $SPXC pops a little bit on earnings for the same reason Vertiv did. I made about 4x on vertiv calls so going to repeat the same for this stock. I work in the HVAC industry so I see a lot of what gets designed into data centers so this is a gamble I’m willing to take and hopefully can repeat the win. Earnings after market tomorrow

I made a few bucks on JCI earnings and parked that investment in UNH and rebought into SPXC also. Very long on it, trying to figure out a long term hold other than VTI, ha. (Too heavy in tech, like everyone else.)

SPXC. they make industrial equipment and cooling towers. They grow about 2% in real terms a year if they are lucky. They have a PE of 78. They are wildly overvalued. I think dummies buy the stock thinking its a cheap version of spx. Someday people might figure it out, idk when.

SPXC. Had 16 shares gifted to me as a baby. I am up...a lot. Only probably is they're direct registered via Computershare.

I had shares of SPX and SPXC held in my name for my entire life. I cashed out SPX, still holding SPXC. I'm glad I did because it went back up above 70.

Options don't trade after hours, so the quotes aren't really valid. But more importantly, SPXC just happens to be a stock with low options activity. It's just not popular to trade options on, and thus its options are low-volume. And low-volume, OTM options quite commonly have no bids.
Hi everyone. My apologies because I think I confused myself and maybe everyone reading this. I’m looking at SPXC and it’s currently 49.64 a share. I was trying to look into options and it looks like no one is buying $55 calls on June 17. I guess I’m just confused why? Thanks everyone!
Instead of investing in the market, why not invest in the exchanges (ICE, OCTM, NDAQ, ASX, DBOE, SPXC, …)? Supposedly the benefit from any trading volume in either direction, so it looks like a way to surf on both growth and volatility. It seems easy to invest in the financial sector as a whole, but curiously there's no ETF for exchanges and I wonder why. Is the idea stupid? Backtesting some equal-weight portfolio gives great returns for reasonable drawdowns.
What ticker is SPX? There’s SPXS SPXC SPXL etc... I don’t see just a SPX.
