F45 and STKS could be interesting to look into. Given the significantly higher average > implied move

I’m 25 single female in Canada, 2 kids, currently in college prep to begin my HCA certificate next year. Employed making 16 an hour part time. Minimal debt. Im getting 13k and I’m not sure what I should do with it! This is my first time getting such a large sun of money and want to spend it right. I’m being told many different things. My sister said to put it into resps for my kids and start an rrsp for myself. She thinks adding to a tfsa would be a good idea as well. My dad wants me to invest a portion of it, but I’m not sure where. I currently own shares in QS, BMO, BA, HUT, and STKS. I’ve also started buying a bit of ethereum on the side as per my dad. I don’t want to do anything too risky with the money.

Programmatically, this is easily done. Live and scaled is really not that hard if you try. segment=1,2,3,4,5 etc --that's the default sort. I get the NASDAQ list nightly and can do this with sector but the NASDAQ industry field is often empty |day|symbol|volume|lastsale|name|sector|industry|pctchange|| |:-|:-|:-|:-|:-|:-|:-|:-|:-| |||||||||| |2021-07-20|AMC|167816608.00|43.09|AMC Entertainment Hol|Consumer Services|Movies/Entertainment|24.466|| |2021-07-20|TPHS|152357.00|2.52|Trinity Place Holding|Consumer Services|Real Estate|17.757|| |2021-07-20|FATBW|1019.00|7.20|FAT Brands Inc. No matter what my Account Balance is, No stock in my long term port will ever eclipse 4% initial investment. The high beta flyers I may hold for it to grow but I would never add to anything that’s 4% or more. Companies like STKS that I’m up over 300% from buying in the depths of Covid last year, I may rebalance down to 7% if it grows over that, but generally when it comes to high risk stuff I don’t want to own more than 4%. (I own 36 stocks 4 ETFs & 2 bond funds)

Bull here. I agree with you on the "travel" type stock, except airline. I am involved in the industry. Hotel occupancy rates tie into all of these areas you discuss and those that hung on and remained (kind of) open will crush it this summer. They have nowhere to go but up. The stats reported and what I actually see are vastly different. Reported occupancy rates overall hovered around 40% last year. Actually likely around 15%. Much lower for high-end properties. Now reporting an upswing to 50%+ but they are closer to 80% and we are beginning to see properties selling out over weekends. Haven't seen that since before March 2020. Folks are staying at the economy (Quality, La Quinta, etc.) and mid-level properties (Hilton-Hampton, Hilton Garden, Marriott-Fairfield, Towneplace, etc.). The high end travel market will take longer to recover. INN, RLJ, CLDT, APLE, SVC (tied into hotel, food, gas), HST (slightly on the higher end), STKS (restaurants). I also have AHT. It's a wildcard but inexpensive. Under $3 now but will be either worth $15 or pennies.
