CVNA - sold early this year and locked in almost 10x TERN - could crater any day, yolo LEU
I was just looking at this on Trade Ideas short squeeze potential. This one and TERN popped up.
WTF insider trading. I saw a random thread a week back, someone said someone bought $700k in TERN calls expiring 11/10 or something and it was an interesting options buy. I decided to randomly buy 1 call because of this. It jumped up 93% today. Whoever bought those calls is RICH ASF. Straight up insider trading.
What’s going on with TERN
Scalped PHIO and THAR; scalping TERN. It's a good day, lads.
RGTI Nov 21 $44 C VNO Nov 21 $40 C TERN Dec 19 $9 C
Terns pharma. TERN … above $8 and loading
If you have time, I think TERN could be a very good one. Potential buyout candidate, mostly owned by institutions, low float. I am thinking with in a year or so.
ABAT & TERN were my moves for Friday. Love them. Longer plays. I think they will reward nicely in the next year or so.
LOGN TERN bro
TERN doing pretty well today
TERN please… please somebody save me
OP is saying market cap of $600M shows this is undervalued and comparables are 8x to 12x times that. I don't know how you get a comparable, $TERN, with several promising drugs in the pipeline is only $492M market cap. It may be impossible terribly difficult to forecast future cash flows from a drug in development, but that's why I won't be going long here. $ALT looks like a typical clinical stage biotech company burning through cash. Just to show an example that beats all these objections, there's $CRSP (I'm holding a small amount). They have several promising drugs in development, some reasonable forecasts on the value of its very promising Casgevy and actual revenue.
While not a penny-stock, certainly a stock that has massive future potential. When they announce a partnership, between now and Q2 2025, this has the potential to go to 21$ and beyond. Obesity is still a hype and no M/A action in the sector. The companies that could be bought 1) ALT 2) TERN 3) VKTX - though, number 3 is too expensive and the upside minimum. Also VERU is interesting, that stock did very well last year and I could see it make another run into 1-2$ regions.
Ghey bears TERN the nut butter for the Wendy's dumpster special sauce.
RFK is being used to beat down all obesity-related stocks (see the big players and a bunch of the smaller players like ALT, GCPR, TERN aside from Viking) but I think it's just an easy cover by MM and shorts. RFK isn't a fan of obesity drugs/GLP1s, but I'm not convinced he would or can do anythung to affect that business. He seems to be proposing a plan based on...healthy food and exercise? Like that's a new recommendation that will treat the obesity epidemic? Honestly bizarre.
I like the stock, but $20/$30 in a few weeks is very strong. TERN, GPCR, VKTX, also worth a look if you want a basket of GLP-1 style treatments that aren’t either NVO or LLY. VKTX have data coming out soon that could put some near-term pressure on ALT, TERN, etc. though, so leave some room to average down over the next week or two.
Definitely pay attention to the volume. The first indication that liquidity is very low is the number of expiration dates. Looking at TERN there are currently only four dates available to select from. As expected they are the third friday of each month.
As of right now, TERN is over 10, so 10 strike puts are OTM. There is no bid, which is common on illiquid OTM options. If they went ITM, there would be a bid and you would be able to sell, but you might have to sell at the bid or close to it.
TERN ALT GPCR probably all overvalued by at least 30% from these levels. TERN you have some time to jump in
Especially last year I did a lot of DD on penny stock, GERN VERU TERN ALT and many more, all of them did very well. When I started chasing, I started to loose. See my posts, last months dogsh** before that...nearly all successful waiting games
SLS and TERN are my biggest 2 positions. I didn't realize VERU was back. Thanks for the info
already very saturated unless TERN is using a difference molecule with zero side effects, more convenient administration method...etc. something that sets them apart, this will not be a major player in the field VKTX is not solely focused on the obesity drug, they also are a front runner on ground breaking drugs to treat NASH.
I've been watching CASI and TERN. TERN has had insiders buying millions of dollars worth last month. [TERN insider buying](http://openinsider.com/TERN). I've yet to buy in...
The less you have in your portfolio, the better. I think 7 or 6 is a good mix. /\* First four is either swing or position trades. I only purchase stocks that have the potential to multiply several times over.
