I been trading UPC for over a year. Basically buy on the low 3s and sell on the spikes. It is a rinse and repeat process.
I'm keeping a close eye on $DCOY and $IDAI from this list. $DCOY is sitting right under its 200-day EMA on the daily chart, so I'm waiting to see if it can break and hold above $1.45 on high relative volume in the first 15 minutes of the open, otherwise it's a quick short back to $1.10. For $IDAI, the float is under 5 million shares, which means if the pre-market volume of 1.2M carries over into retail hours, we could easily see a squeeze toward $1.80. I usually filter out anything under $1.00 like $UPC unless it shows a massive institutional block trade on the tape, as those sub-dollar micro-caps are too prone to immediate dilution halts. I'm going to call it a day, up 7.7% on the portfolio. I put my mind to getting this trading thing down & today I was more on my rule than ever before; reviewing them this morning helped. **The biggest thing I practiced was managing my losses. Even though both $NNBR & $NIXX came back** ($NIXX absolutely flew from my $1.38 buy)**, making sure to have my head right made a world of difference.** Shoutout to $AZI, $NNBR, $ZCMD, $KUST & $UPC for the gains. I opportunistically loaded $AVDV & $FNDC, 2 small-cap ETFs that I want to accumulate over time, as well as a bit of $RAIN; I have to day-trade as well because otherwise the portfolio won't grow (it's an IRA & I'm unemployed), but I'd love to get to where I can set & forget some positions. Tomorrow's a new day with new opportunities. I'm happy to let the portfolio compound for a day... Good luck to everyone!

So here's something that I don't think a lot of people remember and makes this whole saga even funnier. Some amount of years back, there was a big push by eBay to compete more directly with Amazon. They started this whole initiative with "product pages" and a catalog system, so if I search for, "1988 Raphael Ninja Turtles Figure", all of the listings would be connected to a product page. Surprise, surprise, everyone fucking hated it. The big problem with this grand idea of eBay competing with Amazon, is that customers (eBay's buyers and sellers) don't want eBay to be Amazon. If you want a "1988 Raphael Ninja Turtles Figure", a product page is mostly useless because there are 100s of different variations of what that UPC listing could be. This one is in a box, this one is in a box that is damaged, this one has packaging and is open, this one is mint with no packaging, this one is scuffed to shit, this one has has loose joints, this one comes with all weapons, this one has only two of the weapons, this one is just replacement weapons, this one is in a lot with several other TMNT figures, etc... Similarly, have you ever stumbled upon an Amazon product search where people tried listing specific variations like that? It's an absolute mess and is littered with dead listings since it just doesn't work with a product catalog. TLDR: eBay already once tried to "compete with Amazon" and quickly found out that nobody wants eBay to be Amazon.

Curious how Wing will be profitable as drones have many limitations. Further, until FAA rules are relaxed, drones require an operator to be present and capable even during autonomous flight. I’m sure there are similar regulations in most countries to contend with, although I suppose it is a moonshot after all. UPC is interesting, as is their AP2. Gonna repeat what I kept saying yesterday, UPC is going to go with some volume. Float is only 560k and since it hit $6 it’s not dipped below once. Volume picked up towards the end of market yesterday, IIRC it had more vol in the last 2-3 hours than the rest of the day before it

That's what I thought, but apparently the wood pulp for the US toilet paper factories mostly comes from Canada and Brazil. And the real risk with lots of things is that companies delay their next shipment in the hopes that the tariff war will end before they finish using up their last shipment. If they judge wrong, then the toilet paper factory has to shut down because it has no pulp to make into toilet paper. *(BTW there was an in-depth article about the fascinating reason for pandemic toilet paper shortages. The actual reason was that people spent all day at home and thus suddenly used more "home type" toilet paper. Offices generally use a different type than homes, which is actually made at different factories and often sold in packages not suitable for stores because they don't have UPC codes. Same thing happened with packages of frozen french fries. Factories are so specialized that there are factories that make frozen french fries to package in giant paper bags for fast food restaurants, while different factories make frozen french fries to package in smaller plastic bags for sale to consumers in grocery stores. Fast food restaurants stayed closed, while people were home more. There were shortages of frozen french fries in grocery stores, while giant 50-pound bags of frozen french fries piled up in warehouses.)*
