I think you're overestimating the potential of BTC and underestimating the income of a doctor. Doctor salaries today range from over $200,000 all the way to $800,000... As for your other option, today's minimum wage doesn't equate a living wage. From what I have seen, most people who make an actual living working those jobs end up holding two jobs - It's not as easy as it sounds, juggling two schedules and swapping between the jobs every day chews up time, the people who do this are almost always completely exhausted and "surviving" on 3-4 hours of sleep at night. As for BTC mooning, I think we've seen the best of times for the coin. Had any of us bought BTC when it was worth a dollar or even less then we'd all be rich today... Those days are gone, today's BTC provides a hedge against inflation and a possible retirement nest egg. Yes, it is still possible that BTC could go to being worth a million or more but don't kid yourselves, I bought into it when it was between $5000 and $8000 and while I have a nice little sum accumulated (key word: little) it's nowhere near enough to retire on. IF... In the next three years you worked your BUTT off, you still need to pay for some things, perhaps it is possible you could stash away $25,000 to $50,000 worth of satoshis and lets just assume btc stays at $100,000 and then suddenly moons to $1m (no, this won't actually happen but lets pretend). You'd have $500,000. So, not to burst your bubble but to "retire" at a young age and make sure you have enough left to go by the time you're 70 you'd need I dare say somewhere in the vicinity of 5 to 10 million dollars. Because a million just isn't worth that much anymore, if a doctor's career doesn't excite you maybe check into other careers but one thing about becoming a doctor - you're guaranteed work. You have to decide, of course, and I know I'll never be a doctor and if I had to do things all over again a doctor I still wouldn't be just because I don't have it in me. But minimum wage? You won't fullfill any dreams with that.
