BitBoy had admitted to promoting rugpulls and scams twice; promised to stop twice

r/CryptoCurrencySee Post

Bitboy has been involved in 7 Crypto scams in the past all of the projects he worked on either got Exit Scammed or Rug pulled. He has deleted all the videos of scam projects he shilled to his community.

Hold up, I can invest in ETH and earn a 23% dividend? Why haven't I heard of this before?

r/CryptoCurrencySee Post

Bitcoin and Ether ETFs with monthly interest have launched in Canada. This is a huge step towards adoption from people who are less crypto-savvy.

ETHY just sounds as much as a scam than ETH max or what it was called.

Like Bitboy where he promoted scams like ETHY (Ethereum Yield) and removed the videos after it got rugpulled

Use wealthsimple or questrade to buy BTCY in your TFSA instead. If ur BTC allocation is over weighted, look into ETHY

DCA and HODL. I also currently have spot ETFs in Canada that hold BTC for me in TFSA. I also hold BTCY.B and ETHY.B on the TSX that actually have 13-15% dividend which are way better than anything an exchange pays. The stock consists of 75% BTCC which is a spot ETF and the rest is options, whatever they make on options they pay as a dividend for that month. At least with this ETF I know what they are doing with the options as it shows short and long positions in their profile. Also they are audited by lawyers and governed by the Ontario Security and Commissions so they have to be solvent with their holdings.

Sorry. Just being realistic. One of the most underdeveloped blockchains. Finally had a moment to shine last week with launch of SundaeSwap but sooooo many failed transactions. Network couldn't handle congestion. Everything needing to be peer reviewed means any upgrades to cardano will take much longer than other blockchains. Also this was one of the most hyped coins by bitboy crypto, someone who is known to promote scam or pump and dump tokens (ex: ethereum yield ETHY, phantasma, pamp network.) Sorry if you bought at the top, you may have been exit liquidity for him and his friends. Sorry if you are an angry bagholder. But it is my viewpoint that even being as far from its ATH as it is, it STILL is overvalued. Its valuation came from greed, hype, and speculation. DYOR friend :)

I'm just chicken shit and think we'll be down for couple of years at least. So I'm staking stable coins and slowly buying BTCY and ETHY (covered called ETFs). Just looking for yield.

CBC article doesn't even tell you the tickers. They are BTCY.B and ETHY.B for Bitcoin and Etherium respectively.

tldr; Purpose Investments has launched two new Bitcoin and Ether Yield ETFs in Canada. The Canadian-dollar-denominated ETF non-currency hedged units of the ETFs began trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange today under the tickers BTCY.B (Purpose Bitcoin YieldETF) and ETHY. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. Since literally every crypto uses BTC as a comparison since it's considered the standard - yes I am and it's a perfect example. BTC had zero utility for years until it caught on and today it's only utilities are storing value and drawing attention to crypto. BTC's lack of utility is the entire reason why other cryptos exist. And BTC didn't start crypto - look up ecash and bit gold, BTC was built on a foundation laid by folks dating back to the first crypto currencies created in the 80s and early 90s. That's exactly what all new coins/tokens are doing - trying to improve on existing foundations. Crypto has always been a game of "if you build it, they will come" and any new technology has the potential to fill a need and find utility. Crypto gets people excited about finding utility and that's half the fun of any new coin. As for staking, why wouldn't you want to earn interest on your staked coins? I love staking but it is always at risk of illiquidity or the market crashing while having your crypto locked in a stake. For crypto to truly replace traditional financial mechanisms there needs to be similar products available for various use cases and when it comes to the "savings account" model deflationary crypto like SFM, PRYO, and ETHY are trying to meet that need. As for Gemini and Matic - read the fine print. No one is guaranteeing you 7% or 30%, "up to" is in the fine print. And learn how to read charts dude, over the past 10 days Bitmart and PCS have had almost identical volume. The combined volume of PCS and exchanges is still only about $30M/day ($50M overall average) and not many 100 day old projects can say that they're in the top 150 by volume on any lists. Quit being so salty and realize that crypto isn't a zero sum game.
