My ETH is currently being used as collateral (on other chains where gas is less of a nightmare) and in LPs with index funds like NFTP from Indexed.Finance and DATA from Index Coop. Most transactions right now are being done on Uniswap and OpenSea, so one can assume that DeFi and NFTs are the primary uses at the moment. Of course that changes when gas eventually becomes more affordable and we'll be able to use ETH on mainnet for all sorts of smart contract interactions.
